We came here for sit in fish and chips after driving to Seahouses for our holiday. We both went for the light bite fish, chips, side and drink for £14. Glad we went for the light bite as any bigger and we would have been overfaced. Fish was more than big enough in this meal and just the right amount of chips to pair with it. Service was fast and friendly, atmosphere was great and food really tasty and fresh. Curry sauce was to die for! There’s a reason this spot is always busy! Will be coming back soon

Was looking for somewhere to grab some lunch after my boat trip, and found this restaurant just a short walk from the harbour. Inside it’s very clean, modern, nothing fancy but plenty of seating space and some nice prints of local scenes on the walls. Although the restaurant was very busy, service was quick and efficient, and the staff were courteous and friendly. As well as the fish and seafood, they do chicken escalopes, burgers and pies. There are some vegetarian and vegan options, and a children’s menu. I opted for the light bite special: a smaller piece of battered cod with chips, mushy peas, a slice of bread with butter, and a nice pot of tea. The chunky chips were really good, the fish though smaller was still a decent portion, and the meal as a whole was well cooked and piping hot. The prices generally were on the expensive side, but the lighter option I chose worked out better value for money because the mushy peas and tea were included in the price.

Really lovely restaurant. We ordered 2 lighy bite specials, which arrived quickly. The cod was so light and flakey it was beautiful. Great chippy chips. The staff were really nice and polite. Highly recommend

The fish was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d certainly return if ever I fancied fish and chips again. Only lost 1 star for service as they put mushy peas on a dish my wife didn’t want and they took a while to fetch the bill after we’d asked.

We visited during a quiet lunchtime. Service was swift and the menu was expansive for a fish and chip restaurant.

We was welcomed with a friendly manner. We were shown a table. The food arrived promptly and was really fresh and tasty. My partner had a gluten free fish and chips, and she said that it was the best gf fish she’s tasted. It’s reasonably priced. We enjoyed the food and experience. Highly recommended.

Finally a fish and chips shop with banging veggie options. Very convincing. Delicious and staff are friendly and helpful. Sorry the photos aren’t of the food as we first received it. My husband and I shared the chicken/battered sausages.

We have visited this fish and chip shop every time we have visited Sea Houses over the years. It never disappoints! The food is delicious and not greasy which is fantastic! They have indoor dining or take away. I would recommend getting a take away and going to sit on the benches near the harbour. The restaurant is always clean.

Fantastic Fish and Chips. Perfectly cooked selection of Cod, Haddock, Plaice and other options. Non greasy with amazing taste.
Apart from being one of the best Fish and Chips in the area, the staff are really excellent. They are attentive will accommodate to requests. I don’t often give out 5 stars but this place highly deserves it. So if in doubt where to eat try this restaurant as it won’t disappoint. Bread and butter served as standard. Fair prices on their menu.

Ok for lunch but def not worth the prices charged for a VERY greasy piece of fish and chips so chunky it was like logging time in the forest. On the other hand it filled us up. Staff were polite and friendly. Again I just wouldn’t go back because at that price I could get a better meal somewhere else.
