My favorite Korean BBQ place in Sacramento! The meat is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. All the side dishes are so tasty and the corn cheese is my favorite!

Everything about this Hot Pot experience is wonderful.

If you’re going, go with someone who has been before. Or at least if you’re new to the Hot Pot style cooking. Not only are you served by a lovely robot (servers are too, of course 😉 ), but the cuts of meat you get and the pricing per person is not bad at all given what you get.

Atmosphere inside is lovely. Security is patrolling outside usually. Service is quick and accurate, from my experience. Lovely seating. And if you know how to cook, you’re solid.

Definitely gotta go again for 38 bucks. (A little spendy but oh so worth it)

My son took me here for my birthday. They have a set per person price which included appetizers and our choice of protein. Yummy bulgogi. We ate and enjoyed the food.

This is our fourth visit to this location. My husband and I always go to the Roseville location, but now that we moved to the Anatolia area, this one is closer, and brother in law visited us for the holiday and I didn’t feel like trying a different Korean BBQ place. (And he likes this place aslo) The server was super polite and friendly, I didn’t catch his name, but the guy with blonde hair was great! and the food was great. The prime short rib and black tiger shrimp are always fresh and delicious. Jumulluk was good, and I can’t forget the beef belly . I didn’t take many photos because the lighting was a bit off, and we were super hungry – hadn’t eaten for almost 32 hours. We ate food like food fighters

The meat was super fresh, tender, and flavorful, and the LA galbi was melt-in-your-mouth good. Honestly, it might even beat what you’d find in Korea!
If you’re in Sacramento, this place is an absolute must-try. The staff are super friendly, and the restaurant is spacious and welcoming.

Fun experience and great meat! Their buldak ramen is packed with flavor (but careful, it is super spicy which is perfect for me but may not be best to those who are hot-spice sensitive). Service was punctual, professional, and friendly. We were NOT kept waiting for the next order round. Right when we started finishing a round, our server was back to take our next order! That, and they were all on top of swapping out our grill for a clean one! Our server was also super helpful in giving up tips on cooking their house marinated galbi steak since it’s a thick one (and wow, was it buttery and delicious!). Fun atmosphere and great appetizers and sides. We did option C, which is pricey ($108 per person as of June 2025), but the access to their wagyu and galbi meat is so worth the price. Makes an amazing special date night. Even if you don’t do the oriciest option, they’re more affordable tier (option A) provide a lot of delicious meats as well. Really feel you can’t lose eating here!

Blue House Korean BBQ offers a great all-you-can-eat experience with a wide variety of options. The food is flavorful, and the service is attentive—especially during busy times. Prices are reasonable for the quality and selection. However, some have mentioned that the quality has declined over the years, so consistency might vary. Overall, it’s worth trying if you’re in the mood for Korean BBQ!

Super disappointed in this restaurant. It was the most expensive Korean bbq I’ve ever had, $36 to $109 a person and the selection was limited. The meat was ok but there are better and cheaper in the same area. My biggest issue is the literal trashy atmosphere. We dined with bussing carts right next to our table, at one point there were three! The plates are tiny, the furniture is extremely worn, the bathrooms are gross, and they have numerous signs telling you not to leave valuables in sight in your car. This makes the restaurant look bad and any reasonable person knows not to do this. Our server was a nice and accommodating, but the whole experience was poor and over priced. Here are pics of the trash next to our table and the tiny plates.

I am going to break this review down into three parts (Who I went with, the food, price-to-quality, and the general vibe) and provide summaries at the very end if you just want the key points.

I went with one of my college friends here to try out this KBBQ location, and it was your typical KBBQ place, nothing special. We went around 12-1 pm, which is a typical peak time for most in the food industry, and I was fairly quiet there.
We had four different meat entrees, and I chose three of them from option A. We had the Bone-In L.A. Galbi, L.A. Beef Bulgogi, Pork Belly, and Chicken Bulgogi. I ate everything except the chicken, and I would say that all the food was good, but nothing special. All the meats I had tasted the same, as if I were to have KBBQ back in my hometown, San Ramon, but it’s cheaper by around 5-10 dollars per person when looking at their options B and C this is also comparing it from 2 years ago, though, so it might have changed.
The Price was average for a KBBQ place, not too cheap, and I would only recommend it if you think you could eat at least 4-5 full entrees yourself, or if you go in a group, each person has at least 3 full entrees each.

If you have $50 to spare and want a good social eating experience, I would highly recommend it. However, if you are going just for the food, I wouldn’t recommend it. You can get nicer meat for similar prices at a cheaper steakhouse.
Food 9/10
Service 7/10
Food Cost to Quality 6/10

Manager really took care of us, we told him my group came up from the San Jose for a birthday celebration/surprise and we spent some time chit chatting, comparing our favorite KBBQ places. I think this might be my new favorite!!
