Been here a few times and it is always delicious. Lots of choices, good coffee, and service is stellar. They have monthly specials but it would be nice to see a monthly special coffee or latte- honey cinnamon latte, hazelnut – something other than plain coffee.

I had the apple cinnamon French toast and it was perfectly sweet. My boyfriend built an omelet which was very filling. The potatoes are absolutely delicious.

Restaurant is very cute inside. We look forward to the new location!

So good I don’t even want to post this because I want to keep them to myself! The food, staff and service are all top notch! I got the February monthly special of the Birria Benedict and my son got the choricero skillet. We also shared an order of their amazing biscuits and gravy. They make every other restaurant I’ve been to look bad. Keep up the great work Mimosa!

I enjoyed the food and drink. What I didn’t enjoy was waiting and waiting and waiting. I don’t know if it is their style. I waited to order food and had to get my servers attention. Because I watched another couple wait a long time too. Than she didn’t notice or observe to much. I had to ask another server for coffee and extra salsa. Which I waited a long time to get as well. The salsa was an extra 1.00 for what looked like 2 tbsp cup. That’s ridiculous! A Mexican restaurant you can get extra at no cost. Very easy to make tomatillos. We waited a long time for coffee refill. Than I waited even longer for the salsa. Disappointed in this restaurant service.

Do not underestimate! There was a good variety of options that also leans into more eclectic choices. The service was top tier! We were probably served by 5 different people but it was like a well oiled machine. Everyone was on the same page. And after our meal we were given coffee to-go! I have never been offered that in my life. Will have to come back!

Absolutely! Here’s a rewritten version of your review in a more polished, critique-meets-casual tone—think food blog meets friendly chat over brunch:

I was invited to Mimosa for breakfast, and honestly? It hit the spot. The vibe was cozy and welcoming—nothing too fancy, just the kind of place that feels instantly comfortable. Our server showed up right away with a warm smile and asked if we wanted drinks to start. Naturally, we went with coffee… and wow, was it good. Like, “I’ll-take-a-cup-to-go-even-though-I-just-had-one” good.

When it came time to order, I couldn’t decide between the Eggs Benedict or the skillet, so I handed the reins to our server. She steered me toward the Birria Skillet—and thank goodness she did. It was a hearty, flavor-packed masterpiece: a crispy potato base smothered in melty cheese, tender birria, and crowned with two perfectly runny over-easy eggs. The yolk? Pure gold. Mix it into the birria and potatoes, and you’ve got a savory symphony in every bite.

And just when you think you’re done… surprise! Three fluffy pancakes show up on the side. They’re the perfect sweet encore to all that rich, meaty goodness—especially when drenched in syrup. By the end, I was happily stuffed, satisfied, and already mentally planning my next visit.

So why four stars instead of five? Well, I *did* take that excellent coffee to go… and then completely forgot about it. Woke up the next morning to a sad puddle of cold brew in my car’s cup holder. A minor tragedy, sure—but not Mimosa’s fault. The food, service, and atmosphere were all on point. Just maybe don’t let your coffee go neglected like I did!

First time visit and quite busy on a Monday afternoon. Got seated right away and a slight wait for the server to take our order. Once accomplished, everyone was very attentive. Our meal arrived to the table hot and prepared as ordered. Highly recommend the Choricero Skillet, very tasty although the pancakes were small compared to other restaurants.

Fantastic food and superior service always. If health is a priority for you come eat at Mimosa. This is the Irish plate but I got it with buscuits amd upgraded the potatos to have ham and kale. Hollandaise onside as well since the regular sauce is red pepper sauce.

If you’re in Franklin and looking for the best way to start your day, this spot is it. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, welcoming vibe hits you—like a local diner where everyone knows your name (or will soon). The staff is genuinely friendly and fast, even when it’s packed.

Now, the food. You can tell it’s made with love. The eggs are always cooked just right, bacon crispy but not burnt, and the pancakes? Fluffy and golden, with that perfect buttery edge. Their skillet options are hearty and loaded, perfect if you’re hungry. I also love that they offer both classic and creative options—like stuffed French toast one day, then avocado toast with a twist the next.

Coffee refills come quick, and it’s actually good coffee, not the usual diner stuff. Prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.

It’s the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about what to try next time. Definitely my go-to breakfast spot in Franklin, and honestly, one of the best in the Milwaukee area too.

Five stars all the way. Highly recommend.

Before you ask why I didn’t post pictures of the food, you’ll notice I never will. Sometimes pictures of food don’t actually represent the flavors!
So to begin, this is my second time here and both times have been amazing. This is a go to place for my family members that live in the area.
Lets start with the friendly staff and quick service. We were sat promptly served our drink immediately. Got our order in and before we knew it the food was in front of us.
I got the corned beef hash and eggs, right away I knew this was going to be good because I could tell the corned beef was homemade. Guess what? It was delicious! Now I always say eggs are eggs, but with the dark orange color of the yolks you could tell these are fresh or organic, either way great. Everyone else at the table cleaned their plate, so its safe to say their meals were just as delicious!
If you are in the area, or not, I would recommend this place for some great food and an atmosphere for good conversation.

I went to Mimosa back in May of 2025 I was looking for a nice place to have breakfast coming off of the plane . I’m so thankful I found Mimosa !The service was excellent, and the food definitely was excellent. I had French toast topped with strawberries with eggs and cheese. Next time I’m in Wisconsin, I’ll be sure to stop by again and try something else ,I’m sure we will be delicious as well.
