It was my first time visiting this establishment. I was seated right away as it was 830pm. Wait staff approached me quickly asked if I’d like a drink which I chose a diet soda. They gave me menus which I found extremely confusing. At time of ordering I expressed my confusion and placed an order of a combo three meat. Under that choice of meats was st. Louis ribs which I chose and never ever was I told there was a seven dollar upcharge. I chose two other meats and then she said I had choice of two sides. I then asked well where’s the sides as they were not listed under that part I quickly seen sides to the bottom left .which I chose baked potato and here again never explained there was a two dollar up charge….and baked beans. I also explained I wanted a desert which was right dollars served watm with melted topping and side ice cream. The picture looked delicious…she then asked me if I wanted with other food or after and I said after. Her question concerned me that they were closing soon. Food took awhile but I was fine with that. I couldn’t find bathrooms so I asked and the nice female escorted me back. Opon my return because they were sweeping and looked like closing I grabbed a wait staff person and said oh looks like your closing soon I’ll take my desert in a to go container but will eat it here. She said sure that she would let kitchen know. My food was okay…when I say that the ribs were amazing but fish and chicken strips were less then desired. It wasn’t until the desert came was I then disappointed to the point of ..really?? I received cold slab of desert, cold topping on a cup and a cup of grade school blue bunny ice cream. I politely asked if it was possible to warm it up and she said she would try and do that. It returned with tipping on top but still cold. I placed ice cream in waste plate and took home dessert which I still have t eaten. When I received the bill I expected 30 dollars ..but when I received it was $46. I might have overreacted here as I was very taken back. I calmed my temper and asked wait staff if they could explain the ticket. She explained at. Louis ribs were no longer listed as a choice….I said on my menu it was…as I’ve never ever seen the menu before how would I ever known to chose it. I asked why wasn’t the upcharges explained as I was having trouble understanding menu and expressed it was my first time…she said she was sorry but she didn’t know. It wasn’t the wait staff fault I didn’t think…I blamed the establishment for not training staff to explain up charges….she pointed at a little two dollars next to potatoes…and I’m thinking well under the menu combo it said included. I blame the restaurant for having menus that explain upcharges on items ect. Not one area says included and never have knowledge of any upcharge listed next to items with upcharges. And st. Louis ribs..all I can say as I must of received old menu as it was listed under combo. Good grief..I paid the tab and gave an eight dollar tip I believe and calmly left and said thank you. I will not be returning.

Nice place. I just ate there the other day and got seated quick. Service was good. They seemed like they haven’t been properly trained because many of them just seemed confused. Overall the food was decent. The nacho appetizer was very good and their devil spit hamburger was OK. It is a decent place with good meat(overall).

I haven’t been to a Famous Dave’s before but it was absolutely worth coming here for lunch ! My group and I loved our meals and our waitress Stephanie was friendly and patient with all of our orders… especially my auntie’s order she was ordering lots of food to go;))) that tells you how much she loves it here lol. The whole experience and food 100% worth it coming here !

We stopped at Famous Dave’s after moving a mountain of furniture, tired, starving, and in need of something magical. That’s when we met Josie, our server, who just happened to be dressed as Stevie Nicks for Halloween. And let me tell you, she didn’t just look the part… she was the Gold Dust Woman of barbecue.
From the moment she floated to our table like a “Rhiannon” in fringe and charm, Josie turned what could’ve been a simple lunch into a full-on Fleetwood Mac moment. She was fun, witty, confident (did I say confident twice? She earned it), and made us feel like we were backstage with the band. The service was flawless, food came out hot, The Black and Blue (Guinness and Blue Moon) beer would make any Gypsy blush.
By the end, we were laughing, full, and half-expecting a tambourine solo to close the meal. Thank you, Josie, for making our Famous Dave’s lunch feel like a rock concert wrapped in BBQ smoke.
If you ever find yourself there, ask for Josie, she’ll make sure your experience doesn’t just Landslide into another ordinary lunch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok so my food was super good and I was totally happy with everything but can we talk about how shrinkflation effected the corn bread muffins!? I mean come one they didn’t even try to hide that they made them smaller. I mean they are my favorite part of going. Now they are bite sized… other then that, great as always!
