The people and service were great. Had a wonderful waiter. All smiles when we entered and felt very welcomed. However the food was very very subpar. Not one item has flavor. The ground beef is canned, the beans had no flavor and the salsa is very soupy and tastes like crushed tomatoes with nothing added. Everything was just very bland. Overall if the food gets better I can see this place being worth the stop.

I used to love this restaurant, but lately it feels like they’ve become more focused on money than customers. I ordered a cheese dip, a pint of salsa, and even paid for an extra bag of chips after being told the order only came with one. Maybe I misunderstood and assumed that meant one per dip, but it was really frustrating to get home and find only two bags of chips after paying for an extra. I made it a point to stop by to add to my own home cooked taco night and support a local business, but unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be doing that anymore

Reasonably priced Mexican restaurant serving up tasty food & drinks. Most of us had tacos. Server was great – polite and friendly. Not fancy, but it’s cozy and comfortable. Would recommend.

We ate here tonight for dinner, and Robbie was our server and he was awesome. He came to our table as soon as we sat down and took our order. He kept our drinks filled and kept a good check on us. The food was very good at this location.

I am really disappointed with the restaurant’s management. Their food is good and I’ve always had bought food from there to go.
Today i decided to eat in the restaurant with a few companions, we ordered food and a few beers when all of a sudden the server communicated us that the manager decided to not sell us anything anymore, when I asked “why” they just said they were just following orders. Without giving any explanation to help us understand the “why”. We just decided to go away from the place to avoid any problems. I feel really disappointed with the restaurant and I believe they don’t deserve my money anymore.

Missing items from take out orders are becoming a regular occurrence. It’s impossible to check everything before leaving, especially on large orders. Very disappointing to get home and someone doesn’t have dinner. Guess quality control is a thing of the past. My patronage will be too.

Everything was good but if you go alone the waitress hardly goes and checks if you need anything. The other gentleman was paying more attention to the service . Also when I got my plate it was missing an item but she corrected it by giving me another item . But it was good just not going by myself next time or maybe not at all .

My husband and I went with my mother in law and sisters in law, we made a quick stop to eat in calhoun (we’re not from there ) the food was amazing ! My husband had ordered a cocktail and my mother in law a beer. Most of the table had gotten their food before the nopal especial came out , and then mine was brought out by the manager. Once I was cutting into my food the server came over and made us aware the manager asked if they checked my id since my husbands drink was on his right side and I happened to be sitting there beside him on the booth. The server then asked if he can move it to his left side. I myself am a server and I know there’s no specific rule where a person can place their drink. Witnessing them drink it I understand but the only thing that can be told is they’re cut off and won’t serve them any more drinks. As we continued to eat the same manager kept passing our table and kept looking at the table making everyone uncomfortable. We went to go eat not to be stared at the whole time. He kept going around the table beside us asking if everything was good but never ours. Shows how unprofessional he is. Keep in mind when you come here you apparently can’t put your drink wherever you want on the table.
