If you are looking for basic food this will work. Definitely not worth the price per meal. I got the chicken tenders and the wrre cooked and seasoned well. for sides I had green beand and fresh fruit. Fruit was fresh but green beans were cafeteria like. The corn muffins were very dry.

Had brunch at the Maysville location, during the week. I tried a different meal on the menu & had the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes!!! I Love Strawberries & cheesecake, so this pancake combination was delicious. They were buttery crispy on the outside & had a creamy cheesecake filling , topped with strawberry syrup . I had two sunnyside up eggs, bacon, a side of crispy hashbrowns & a caramel latte. While my husband tried the Shrimp Gumbo Grits, that were surprisingly amazing, with a side of fried apples & biscuits! Great new choices on the menu. Service was ok.

We used to love going to Cracker Barrel before COVID. However, after COVID has been different. They are often out of specials, which is why we went for dinner pretty early today. The service was great, but my carrots were cold and the trout had skin on it, making it taste very fishy. The fillets were paper thin, too. And the menu has been changed (again). I want happy to discover that baked sweet potatoes have been removed from the menu.

We had an excellent breakfast and exceptional service from Laura. The blueberry pancakes are always a favorite and the sugar cured ham was delicious. Laura was attentive, friendly and made sure to stay a step ahead of us with hot, fresh decaf.

There was no wait to get a table but it took an hour for them to bring us the wrong food. The food was horrible when it finally came. The waitress didn’t know what she was doing. I would never eat at this nasty place again. Save your time and money and go to somewhere like Wendy’s and get a nice breakfast Baconator and some seasoned potatoes. 10 times better than the disgusting food that this place sells.

I go every Tuesday with a Church Elder, where we get to catch up with what’s happening thru the past week. I usually order from the kids’ menu bcuz it gives me a single serving of an egg(made my way), 1 sausage or bacon, cheezy hashbrowns, and toast. Along with my ice-cold water, it costs me $4.99+ tax. And Laura(Server) greets us warmly each time. And I greet Steve, who eats at Cracker Barrel every day of the year!
For my birthday, I tried a new dish. Since that time, I have ordered it once each month as a treat meal. But I take half home to enjoy it a 2nd time. I ordered it with sirloin tips… Yummy for the Tummy!

Today, I tried their version of a “Shepherds Pie”…oowee…that was tasty. Had it with corn muffins instead of their biscuits. A little butter w/honey…what a perfect dessert.
Well,its been awhile since I posted at Cracker Barrel. Besides coming for Great Food and Atmosphere (with a crackling fire),I look forward to seeing Michelle (multitasking the front store and escorting guests to their table…All with a warm Smile). I also look for Steve(the everydayer)and a group of Christian Brothers (Sonny,Jim,Steve,Bill & Lew). I almost forgot about Karen and her service dog,Patton. Karen let’s me give Patton a nutritious treat (dog biscuit)

Cracker Barrel: we arrived at 4:00pm today the restaurant wasn’t crowded! We were seated rite away, and Jacob our server took our order along with serving our drinks.. Eight min later we had our delicious meals along with Jacob our very fine attentive server.we ordered Icelandic cod dinner, and the Meatloaf! Both dinners were well cooked, and rite on with taste, texture, and temperature! Around an hour dining, and Jacob checking on us regularly, keeping us well watered. Everything was awesome here today! Including the old country store, We purchased some nice items from the fine selection in their store. A great dinner all around.
