Very unique menu and delicious food! We had the On Fire Roll which they literally set ablaze (in foil) to create a smoky flavor. I had never seen that before and it was delicious!! We also had the Tonkatsu pork ramen, hibachi chicken, pad Thai, veggie gyoza, and fried cheesecake- another first for me! It was all very good, the service was also excellent, and we will definitely be back!

I had an amazing dining experience! The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious! The Teriyaki Bento box was perfection, and also the Earth Roll was a perfect balance of flavors. Every bite was a delight. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Hana for anyone looking for fantastic food and great service!

My husband loved the bowl he got. Edamame was very good. Service was super friendly. Not a fan of the hibachi but I am a hibachi snob, unfortunately. The fried rice was okay and the shrimp sauce was just okay. Definitely willing to try some other menu items!

Excellent Ramen with pork and outstanding Tofu Pad Thai. Their Pork Egg Rolls are so fresh and tasty. Definitely have those.

4 is too low and 5 may be a stretch, but this was a great meal overall. I had the pork Ramen. It is a soup with pork belly. The pork belly was so tender you could pick it/cut it with chop sticks. I have had Pho with pork, but this is much different t and just as good!The pork was amazing.
The group next to me were making a commotion about some “hard to find” dish. So I asked and found out the sesame rolls/balls are unique…at least to Johnson City. A sweet lady in the table near me offered me one of her sesame balls and it was GREAT. Crispy outside, gooey inside…and only slightly sweet. Next time I come I plan to save room for sesame balls for dessert.
Give it a try. It’s a nice place to eat or take out in Johnson City.

We did take out. It was our first time here. My wife and I had sushi rolls. Our eldest children had poke bowls, and our youngest had Chicken LoMein. It was all very excellent. Timely preparation. Definitely some of the best sushi in the area.

I adore Japanese food that isn’t just sushi, and was ecstatic when I took a look at the menu at Hana and saw how much actual Japanese cuisine they have! When we went, they were wonderfully attentive. My mom has a lot of digestive issues and has to be careful about ingredients. The person that greeted us took them very seriously and was wonderful at directing her on what was safe for her restrictions and what might not be. She was also making wonderful suggestions for my mom as well. I got the beef yakiniku lunch portion. Absolutely incredible! Just robustly, wonderfully garlicky! Some of the best beef I’ve had at a Japanese restaurant! Absolutely worth your time. The only thing that was ever so slightly off was country music in an Asian restaurant felt very mismatched. (A little funny I admit, but would have preferred something a little more quiet and instrumental for dining) Do not pass them up!

Hands down the BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT AROUND THE TRI-CITIES. Sari is a fantastic woman, and very respectful. I originally would visit her restaurant back in the old name, and haven’t stopped since! The chicken red curry spice 1 with steamed rice (ESPECIALLY THE EGGPLANT) is superb. The crunchy spicy tuna appetizer comes on a fried square of rice, which illuminates the flavor and honestly, I cannot say enough amazing things about every bit of food I’ve ever tried here (and trust me, I have tried just about everything on the menu). If you’re looking for a good asian restaurant, an amazing cook for the food, and very respectful atmosphere? This is your place.

Came in with friends tonight, we are visiting from Ohio. We like to try ramen where it’s available and this did not disappoint. The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly. She makes that pork broth from scratch, 72 hours of cooking. It shows. My husband had the pork ramen and said it was exceptionally well done. I had the pad Thai and it was fantastic. 10/10 will be back.
