I ordered a large sweet tea and it has always been $1 included last Sunday. I understand price increases but I was told by the employee that it was going to be $2.70. And I even questioned the $1.70 increase which she acted like was normal. So after I left I did a mobile order for a large sweet tea and it was only $1.39. I do not appreciate being lied to. I would like an explanation.

Exceptional Customer Service from Axel!
I want to give a huge shoutout to Axel at the Bush’s Chicken on 3009. His customer service was absolutely exceptional. I had ordered my 8-piece chicken gizzards in advance, but when I arrived, they hadn’t been dropped yet and my order wasn’t ready. Before I even had a chance to get frustrated, Axel stepped in immediately and took ownership of the situation.
He was intuitive, professional, and handled everything like a true leader. Even though I had to wait an additional 15 minutes, Axel’s attitude, communication, and willingness to make things right completely turned the experience around. Because of his outstanding service, I will definitely be returning.
Bush’s Chicken is lucky to have someone like Axel representing them!

Just don’t eat here at this location, not only did i get sick from eating here (threw up everything at 6am) but the service from the employees is just horrible. No one came to the counter to help even though i made eye contact with everyone just walking around but the girl that did help was rude and acted like she would rather do anything else, place looked dirty in the kitchen, the girl that helped legit threw the sauces i asked for in the bag, and on top of that this place as a B rating for sanitation. Which seems like it was generous due to the amount of food i saw just on the floor in the kitchen. do not eat here unless you want to get sick and have horrible kids providing you horrible service. a complete waste of 30$.

Chicken is great. Fries and rolls delicious. Unfortunately every time we arrive and go to order we are ignored. There will be workers therer at the register and will not even acknowledge customers. Last time we went a female who was manager was doing a close out at register never acknowledge d us. A very courteous young man that came in from taking order from tthe drive up came to the register and took our order and came out to the table to give us the order. Now that young man knows more about customer service than the manager.

Tried this for the first time at the church pot luck lunch then it has become my favorite fried chicken in Texas! We love to have our lunch at the Bush’s Chicken and try their different menus; besides fried chicken they also have baked chicken & chicken gizzards (first time to have fried chicken gizzards and love it!) Went to order a family chicken tender meal for my kid’s school spirit night and was disappointed by the food. Staff was super friendly and food was quickly served but I think it came w/ a price bc the chicken was oddly slimy under the fried batter. Mashed potatoes had a weird smell. French fries seemed dry. It was our 1st time ever purchasing a meal from this franchise but it’ll probably be our last tbh.

Absolutely the best chicken gizzard, corn nuggets and fried okra I’ve had in Texas so far. Portion was humongous. Don’t order large if it’s just for you! Everything was cooked to perfection, service was on point and sweet tea is very good also.
