Cute atmosphere, friendly staff, and FLAVORFUL food! The salsa is a bit smoky with just a hint of sweetness. The beer was cold and the margarita was strong. They have a huge menu with lots of variety. My wife and I got tacos and my goodness, they’re delicious. We both noted how full the tacos were. We hate going places where you get more shell than filling. On the way out the door, my wife stated that this is her new go-to taco place, I couldn’t agree more. You will not be disappointed!

It has a very rustic feel. It was quiet as well as cozy. The food was okay but I’d say it was far from an authentic if that’s what you’re looking for. I’d compare it putting sugar on your spaghetti because everything is sweet very sweet. I always ask for a hot salsa when I go to get tacos that is non existent here. I’d love some variety for the salsas green, sweet, hot etc. The volcano lava burrito was missing the volcano the only lava I tasted on it was the color of the sauce. The sauce was compatible to the heat you get from watching the puppy bowl on tv. I will say this you will get full because it’s 90 percent rice and 10 percent protein. The redeemed qualities are the atmosphere is very nice, the price is reasonable 10-15 a plate 5.99 for kids, and if you want to drink the menu has some variety for flavors same for the virgins for the kiddos. Overall not terrible.

Absolutely love Salty’s. We moved away and come back every time we are back in town. Chips and salsa are fresh and tasty. The Taco Pasta salad is a must! It’s our favorite. I had the Chicken Mango Habenero Bowl. Staff is friendly and food is delicious.

The food was all really good, including the margaritas!! The place is pretty small, as soon as you walk in the door, you pretty much walk right in to a table. There isn’t a good place to stand and wait for one. During the cold months, those tables close to the door are a chilly place to sit. However, the staff was really nice and the food was great!

Not worth the try. You pay top prices for a bottom level experience. Inside is nicely decorated and there’s plenty of tables in and outside. That’s where the pros end. I’ve been twice and experienced two separate servers. Both were very rushed to be done at your table and rarely came back to check in. Took over 30 min to have our order taken on our last visit. You won’t be able to order anything for less than $15-$18 and while the food isn’t “bad” it’s no better than the other 6 Mexican spots within walking distance where you can get the same thing for $10-$12 and have muuuuuch better service. Chips are store bought and honestly stale, but salsa is good. Classic marg is obviously the generic supplier pre mix and tequila and no limes offered for the rim. TLDR, find another spot unless you want to pay way more for way less than average.

This place is fantastic. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We got the taco platters and really enjoyed it. The salsa was the best I’ve had in town – it was sweeter but they offer things to add if you like spicier.

we tried the breakfast/brunch, ordering the steak tacos and the chorizo bowl, and while we found some good, fresh flavors, we also found both dishes lived up to the restaurants name. the salt levels were through the roof, sadly over powering the dishes’ unique and complex flavors. hopefully it was just a case of a heavy-handed cook that morning, and not indicative of the usual fair

Salty’s was smaller than I expected and it was very crowded but it was clean and inviting. The server was friendly, professional, and not at all pushy. The steak fajitas were delicious and the tea wasn’t bad. The pictures are the leftovers I brought home because I was too busy diving in last night.

I had the beef enchiladas, 3 to an order. They tasted fine although they were more new age than traditional. Not spicy at all. The enchiladas are not served with any sides. The salsa was a little sweet for my taste. My buddy’s tacos looked good but I didn’t mooch a bite so I can’t say for sure. Good thing I wasn’t starving. The overall experience was good but nothing like being in New Mexico.
