We have been long time fans of Quaker Steak, and this one was no exception. Our local restaurant closed so we were very excited to find one while we were on our trip to Indiana Dunes. The service was great, and the food even better. We started with the cheese and pretzels as our appetizer, and it was delicious. Me and my husband both had the orange chicken rice bowl which was so good! We can’t wait to stop by for future visits to the dunes for a little nostalgia! The restaurant was clean, and our server was very friendly! I highly recommend!

My wife and I have passed by this restaurant many times, and we were excited to finally stop in for a meal on our way back from Mackinac Island. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience.
I ordered a steak that came out barely warm and almost raw, and my wife’s burger with macaroni and cheese was cold. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so it’s hard to understand how that could happen.
We really wanted to like this place — it looks fun and inviting from the outside — but sadly, the food quality just didn’t match the expectations. Hopefully, management pays more attention to consistency, because this spot has great potential.

Great atmosphere inside. Outside could use to be cleaned up. There are empty beer bottles on the tree row. At least 10. Looks tacky. The food was good. I would recommend this place. Just needs to clean up the outside. They have an outside bar, which looked nice. Check out some pics.

Stopped here on a whim driving to Michigan State. Decor was fun. Service was excellent. Food was a little slow because they realized kitchen wasn’t getting orders through system. Server was apologetic and very attentive. Food was very good when it arrived. Would definitely go back.

My first time visiting Quaker Steak & Lube. We stopped on road trip to Indiana Dunes national park to see if “Best Wings USA” checks out. One of the best wings I have ever had. I wish there was a location closer to us so I could try more wing sauces!

Great food!! Good experience. Great decor. I got the cauliflower wings with the Thai I didn’t think it was spicy. It was really good. Probably will got a bit hotter next time. Decent prices we also got the boom boom shrimp. Comes with 6 and coleslaw in the middle really good. My hubs got the BLT with French fries but the fries weren’t ready for my daughter’s and his plate so she brought out some chips which were Devine!
