We were treated like family when we walked through the door. Great diner atmosphere! Our server today was Tedra, she was friendly and attentive. Drinks were refilled as needed. Food was brought out fresh and hot. Portions were great, overall great dining experience!

I was pretty disappointed with my experience yesterday. We got the salad bar. The lettuce was starting to wilt, two of the selections of fruit were mushy and sour, the chips for the taco section were stale… The bathroom was grubby and I noticed all the window dividers between booths were absolutely gross. There is no way that this grime was from one day. Please clean the restaurant and check the food that is being served on buffet.

I hadn’t been to a Big Boy in decades.

The food still tastes great and is well made, though the prices are a bit high. $16 for a turkey sandwich is pretty pricey. It tasted great and was presented well, though, as was the fish sandwich. The fries were fantastic. (I didn’t get pictures of the food, I was HUNGRY, lol)

Our server was attentive and friendly. We were seated and served quickly.

It was worth revisiting for the nostalgia.

Amazing service and good food! A must stop for affordable and good lunch or dinner. I had chili 7/10, I recommend getting onions and cheese. I also got a side salad with a southwest ranch dressing 8/10 and chicken strips 7/10. My sister had the Cajun pasta and she wasn’t a fan but I thought it was good 7/10. My husband had the build your own omelet and it was 8/10. My sisters boyfriend had breaded shrimp and fries. They were 6.5/10. The service was amazing, they were attentive and very helpful.

It’s the same wonderful place that I enjoyed often 40 – 50 years ago. A little modernized, but I love it and enjoy seeing the young people there, enjoying it too! Excellent service! Vert friendly, welcoming, and efficient servers. Food is always at great, high standards. Nice buffet bar. Fresh!! Clean restaurant. Very. Comfortable and relaxing. I will visit this Big Boy EVERY time I’m in Marquette!

Food was really good and exactly what we needed. Staff was also fantastic and was super attentive. I think our waitress’ name was Autumn or some season and she was amazing. Thank you for the hospitality.

Pancake and shake was amazing.

I had my 5 kids and a dog when we stopped here for lunch. They were so willing to let 4 of my kids sit inside while me and my daughter and dog sat outside. They were thoughtful about our table outside being washed. They even brought our dog some cold water. They said my kids were polite. All in all we really enjoyed our lunch.

The big boy in the name is not random, the portions are made for big boys. The food here is great, fresh, hot, with the right amount of spices. The staff and servers are also great, we had a great night, drinks were refilled, food came out quick

The highlight of this visit was the service. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and quick to correct a problem with the food. The eggs benedict left too much to be desired and at a price a tad too high ($16.99). I realize everyone, including restaurants, is paying too much for food nowadays, but his is no excuse for serving sub-par food. The hollandaise sauce was thinner than usual (the last time I had this elsewhere, the sauce actually stayed on top without running off), the ham on the muffin (which, by the way, was partially burned) was two small, very thin slices of what appeared to be deli loaf and mainly covered one half of the two muffin halves. When I pointed this out to our waitress, she immediatly went into the kitchen to fix this problem. The piece of ham they sent out after I was about done eating was actually ham. The hash browns were also partially burned. We’ve frequented Big Boy for many years, but this last visit will be our last visit.
On the up side, My wife was very happy with her chocolate-chip pancakes and gave them a five.
