Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Hadn’t even made it inside the door and we were greeted by the young man behind the counter, with a smile. Fast, friendly service. And excellent food – exactly what I expected after almost a year out of state. Saw several different employees cleaning the entire time we were here – floors, windows, counter/table tops, the trash bins, the fountain/beverage station. This is probably the cleanest restaurant I’ve been in – THANK YOU!!!

I can’t believe I ordered a strawberry shake and was giving a shake with vanilla at the bottom. I guess someone forgot and tried to cover it up and was too lazy to make the shake over. Smh but it some nice employees in there. Manager seem sincere but please get the employees together because the prices of the food is not getting cheaper.

I always enjoy the food here — my orders are consistently correct and the staff is friendly. The location is clean and the drive-thru workers are polite. The only downside is the wait time. I usually expect to be in line for about 15-30 minutes or more, even when it’s not busy. If they could speed things up a bit, it would definitely be a better experience.

Honestly, I’ve been to this whataburger so many times over the years… this time was the worst. My boyfriend and I both got a meal and the patties were old, cold, dry and super bland. I asked for no lettuce and extra pickles but got extra lettuce and 3 pickles. I immediately felt sick after eating half the burger. The fries were also super old and were almost like plastic for some reason. We literally picked up the food like 7 minutes after placing the order so there was no way it could’ve been sitting for long. It was a waste of 30 bucks. We will definitely not return to this location.

Love that this Whataburger is open 24/7! The food is always hot, fresh, and hits the spot no matter the time. Staff is friendly and quick, even late at night. Definitely my go-to when everything else is closed.
