I was very impressed with the ambience. The only thing it was pretty hot in there. the buffet options were great very tasty many choices
The meat could’ve had a little bit more seasoning on it but I don’t want to say anything negative about them it was a great experience and the food was good

Came here on a Thursday evening for my daughter’s birthday dinner, was told they had no table to accommodate us- my 5 kids and myself. First hustle they pull is charging kids based on height using a chart that starts about 6 inches off the floor above the baseboard- doesn’t seem to be very accurate but….. Then they were going to have to put us at 2 different tables- so 2 teens sat at one table and myself, my other teen, and 2 littles sat at the other. The food was mediocre with the exception of some of the proteins being good. The sides all were very poorly executed and one of the meat dishes tasted off which we told our server and she did not care. The service was terrible, except for the hostess who was sweet, but the robots and customers do all the work essentially, server had no personable attitude , was rude, and not attentive- had to beg for water and get our own napkins. Cleanliness was not good either in bathroom nor restaurant. I am given a large check without the birthday meal comp or the 5% discount for weekday evenings for parties over 4, they fix the birthday comp don’t give the 5% discount and have the nerve to charge a $38 gratuity for being a party of 6 (2 were little kids) even though they put us at different tables for my daughter’s birthday and gave us terrible service. The manager was right there very clearly understood the situation and did nothing to correct! Do yourself a favor and do not give your hard earned $$ to this place.

We came here last night for a birthday dinner and had a great time! Service was excellent from our server and everyone else that stopped by our table. The salad bar had many great options as did the BBQ portion of the menu. Plenty of drink options and appetizers as well.

We pretty much got to the 2 hour limit but never felt rushed or anything. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

I’ve always wanted to check this place out and here we are trying this place. This place is much better comparing to the other Korean buffet near the mall in town. The meat isn’t the good quality but side buffet makes up for it. The process of order the food on the phone is very convenient. I will be returning when I got money to blow.

Food was good staff they are great. The only reason I gave 3 stars for the food is I got the bean sprouts and it was bad old. I am not new when it comes to Korean banchan, I knew that it was not good. I did address it with one of the staff members, however I’m not sure if it was replaced. Overall meat was supper yummy I really did love the fact that the staff was very attentive. I would come here again and eat.

Me and my partner went with his siblings to a night out for Korean BBQ in the middle of this strong windstorm…. and while most of the power was out in Stockton, we found that Gogi was still open. So we figured, why not??

Here’s my tl;dr on this place: the pro is this place does not automatically charge you a 18% gratitude fee. They have different options for you to choose from in terms of Korean BBQ… so thankful that their premium option was on sale!

Food: 5/5
I really loved the options that they gave us — thought they started out small, the meat portions were just right for 5 people. The sides were also really good too — some were a little bit salty, some a little too bland. But overall, so much food options that I didn’t realize that I was full halfway because I kept on EATING. LOL.

Service: 5/5
Phenomenal service. They were really helpful from the very beginning and I thank them for that honestly — they often checked on us for changing grills and recommendations for what kind of meats might fit the best occasion.

Atmosphere: 4/5
I would say the atmosphere is okay — there were a lot of kids and people that night so I definitely let it sither that weekend nights are probably when they’re usually most busy.

Overall, I’d come back again!

Unassuming on the outside but wonderful KBBQ restaurant. Huge place inside. It’s all you can eat. Lots of good side dishes. Try not to overeat coz the food is good and the meat dishes are fresh. The servers are wonderful and there’s wall E too. There’s also assorted drinks to choose from, soju cocktails are good and the goblin beer

Ignore any bad reviews about this place and let your own experience speak for itself. My friend from South Korea was yearning for some good Korean BBQ and found Yogi. She thought it would be a good choice based on the menu items and how the restaurant was set up as it was very traditional to korean bbqs in South Korea.

We went around dinner time for the premium dinner and we had about a 20 minute wait to be seated which was fine. When we were seated we ordered our first 3 meats and checked out the salad bar. Keep in mind this is not like an American salad bar this is more common side dishes in Korea plus sauces/dips/condiments for youre main food (white rice, fried chicken, japchae, ssamjang, garlic, sesame oil, cilantro salad, etc. the pictures are of this salad bar).

We were a bit off when our first order of meats took a long time to come out (40-50 minutes) but we were explained that it was due to them having to prep the premium cuts we ordered and how busy they were at the moment. They were very pleasant about everything and honestly if you’re with good company the time doesn’t feel so long.

Once the food came out and we started eating we were so happy with every bite we took. The meat was perfect and fresh no matter what we ordered. Staff were very helpful with adjusting our temperature on the grill, changing the pans, and adding water to the grill underneath if needed. They do also have staff that speak Korean if that is important to you for ease of ordering. It definitely made my friend happy since she could ask questions properly.

We ended up being stuffed at our 2 hour mark, but they had told us already that due to the long wait we would have extra time if we went past the 2 hours. We drove from Modesto for this restaurant and will happily come back when we’re feeling Korean bbq. 10/10 on all aspects of this place.

The food and the service were good. There’s a robot to deliver the food to our table within a few minutes after ordering on the phone. Some other cooked food at the salad bar was delicious, too.
