My hubby book for us for my birthday dinner for us and friends.

I’ve ordered the mixed grill.

I’m sorry but I don’t think it’s worth it and the sausage is horrible. Ordered a dessert cheesecake. That was the worst cheesecake I’ve ever had in England. I’m sorry, but my first and last visit for sure to this place. Won’t recommend to my friends.

I recently visited the Oaks Brewers’ Fair in Norwich, and I can confidently say it was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and full of character—exactly what you hope for from a classic, well-run brewers’ fair.

The food was exceptional. Every dish we ordered was cooked to a high standard, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. It’s rare these days to find a place where the kitchen consistently delivers both quality and attention to detail, but Oaks Brewers’ Fair certainly achieves it.

What elevated the whole experience even more was the incredible service. Our waitress, Jasmine, was nothing short of outstanding. She was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging—one of those people who not only does their job well but also makes you feel looked after from start to finish. Her warm personality, attentiveness, and natural charm made the evening that much better. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and in my opinion, she truly deserves a promotion. Staff like Jasmine are what make a great venue exceptional, they are also hard to come by. True customer service a true value to any business.

Overall, I highly recommend the Oaks Brewers’ Fair to anyone visiting Norwich. It’s a place that delivers on all fronts.

Lunch Review – March 13, 2025

Today, I had lunch featuring a traditional Beef & Ale Pie, followed by an Apple Crumble. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly staff who took my order.

The atmosphere was notably relaxing, with a lunchtime crowd primarily made up of the older generation.

As I awaited my meal, I took a moment to appreciate the surroundings. The restaurant boasts a reasonably sized car park, and the dining area exudes a cozy and inviting ambiance. Additionally, I found the male restroom to be clean and well-maintained.
When I dug into my pie, I did come across a lump of fat, which is one of my pet peeves. However, aside from that, I consumed the rest of the meal, and the apple crumble for desert. The total price for my meal, including a refreshing glass of orange juice, was a reasonable £20.

Throughout my visit, several staff members kindly checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory. I responded positively but chose not to mention the piece of fat since I had left it on my plate for them to see. Overall, if it weren’t for that one issue, I would have given a 5 star rating as everything else satisfactory

A great place to eat, especially if you’re staying at the Premier Inn next door. Service was very good as was the food. The waiting staff were helpful and friendly. Price was very reasonable. I’d have no hesitation to recommend to eat here. Thank you!

Met a friend for a late Friday lunch. Both ordered the rump steak and shared the brownie dessert. Lots of free parking, good start. Lovely welcome. Comfortable seating. My steak with a peppercorn sauce was delicious and as ordered chaŕred on the outside and deep pink within. The dessert was a naughty extra whilst we caught up (not rushed), also delicious. Cant fault the experience. Very competitively priced. Highly recommend.

Love Brewers Fayre, sometimes a bit of a hit of miss, but good value for money.
Food was great even when we asked starters to come out with the rest of the food, so we had to wait 10 mins.
Burger was excellent and could have been more jucy, but the meat was good.
Chips were 10/10
Kids meal good price, pizza was excellent.

This place really gets breakfast right. For the price, the value is excellent — you’re not just getting a cooked breakfast, but also cereals, pastries, yoghurts, fruit, and drinks all included. At £10.99, it feels genuinely fair, especially with one child eating free per adult, which makes a big difference for families.
The food is consistently good and well stocked, and there’s plenty of choice so everyone can find something they like. Staff are friendly and helpful, even when it’s busy.
It can get a bit hectic when it’s full, but that’s honestly to be expected given how popular it is — and it’s a sign they’re doing something right rather than a negative.
Overall, great value, good quality, and a solid all-round breakfast experience. Easy 5 stars.

Very tasty food and reasonably priced. A couple of minutes drive from Norwich airport. Staff was friendly. Free parking when you dine there. You just have to scan the parking ticket at the restaurant.
