I came out from San Jose to celebrate my brother’s birthday at Harumi Sushi & Hibachi and was pleasantly surprised to find out they offer a complimentary birthday meal. That was a really nice touch and made the night feel even more special.
One thing I immediately appreciated was how clean the restaurant is. The space feels well kept, and the customer service was great from start to finish.
Since it’s all you can eat, I also liked that there’s no awkward pressure when ordering. The per-round limit is actually generous compared to other spots, so we never felt restricted. They also have a clean salad bar area, and I love that they offer ice cream to go.
As for the food, the sushi tasted fresh and there are tons of options on the menu. It can feel a little overwhelming at first, but everything we ordered came out solid. And don’t skip the hibachi. The BBQ short ribs are seriously so good. I’d honestly come back just for that.
Definitely a spot I’d recommend.

This was pretty good. There was a wait to get in, but overall there was a lot to eat. The food was pretty good. The service was great. We were able to get our fill of a variety of cooked and raw sushi, grilled foods, and salads. Great ambience. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth coming back.

I took my sons here yesterday for lunch. We got to the restaurant around noon and got a table immediately. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The decoration was nice and pleasant. We liked most of the items we ordered. The service was great. The food for the second round came out much slower since the restaurant was completely packed around that time, which is understandable. The price for lunch was reasonable. There were many choices on the menu to pick from. We would come back again for lunch.

Good food, good vibes, and great staff. Go for a special occasion or when you’re ready to chow down. AYCE for 90 min including desserts. Service is so fast you don’t really need to worry about the timer. There also isn’t an order limit which is great for sampling. Give them a try!

First off, the food is so amazing, they come in small portions which is so nice since I was able to try 12 different rolls/sashimi/appetizers instead of the usual 7. The music was an entire vibe, I’m not sure who was in control of the music but EVERY song was a bop. Our server Mia was so so attentive and kind, she came the perfect amount of times and made sure we had everything we needed, the bussers were also really sweet and quick to grab the dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

We discovered Harumi by accident while waiting in line for another restaurant on a Friday night. We waited 20 minutes for our table. The restaurant was packed. Service was attentive. Our server checked on us often. Foods were mostly good. Some sushi rolls are better than others. The sashimi was yummy. The tonkatsu ramen was bland. Overall, it was a great experience and we will return.

My coworker recommended this restaurant to me so I decided to have lunch here with my dad. There was a bit of a wait when we went around 12:30 pm, but not too bad. The interior was nicely decorated and clean. Our server was Alex T and he was amazing. If I could request to have him as my server each time, I would. Since it was mine and my dad’s first time at Harumi, Alex easily explained the process of ordering and answered any questions we had. Since there was a sizeable amount of options (not a complaint) I was a bit overwhelmed. Alex was able to help my dad and I by recommending food items based of the types of fish we both enjoyed. I appreciate Alex and the rest of the crew for being fast and efficient throughout our dining experience.

Go there early! It opens at 11am and there were people waiting in line already at 10:45am. You definitely want to be in the first seating and put in your first order as quickly as possible. There is a time limit of 90 minutes as soon as you sit down and doesn’t matter if your whole party is there. Note that on the weekend, it is dinner price and dinner selections the whole day. It still felt like a great deal for $40 per adult. There are kid prices too.
Our super friendly server, Andy, helped us out with our first orders and all of his recommendations were spot-on! He was very enthusiastic and quick. It’s like he read our minds. The sashimi was fresh and the varying carpaccios were tasty. My friend really liked the fried oysters and we had a couple of orders. The only meh dish was the grilled beef, it was super fatty but tasted good. All the rolls were good, we especially liked the miso sauce on top of the summer roll. Also, the hibachi grilled and teriyaki grilled shrimp and steak were perfectly smoky and tender.
Overall, we loved how all the dishes were not too big and just the right size to share for 4 people. We were also very grateful to be able to split the check 4 ways and you can tap your own credit card in their system.
