Josh, Bri, and the entire Black Sheep team worked seamlessly with guest chef Tyler and the florist from Pomp and Bloom to create a truly special evening. We ordered both from the guest chef’s curated menu and the phenomenal Black Sheep regular menu—every bite was outstanding, and the cocktails were perfectly paired.
You can tell everyone involved genuinely loves what they do. Whether it’s a casual drink, date night, or group outing—Black Sheep delivers joy, quality, and unforgettable hospitality. Highly recommend

We had both the Pepperoni and the Pesto Neapolitan pizzas — and honestly, they nailed it. The crust was light, a little chewy, and had that awesome char you only get from a real brick oven. The Pepperoni had the perfect spice, and the Pesto was super fresh and flavorful. You can tell they actually care about the dough and the ingredients. Definitely add to the list for go-to spots.

My server was very nice. My pizza was burnt. I was told it’s “artisan pizza.” Non of the pics online even compare. Most of the pizza was wasted because it couldn’t be eaten for being so burnt. I complained and was still charged full price. I complained again showing the online pics in comparison to the pizza in front of me. They ended up charging me for only 1/2 the price. For a pizza that looks AND TASTES this burnt, it should have been made again. I would have gladly waited and paid full price to have it done correctly. They were not busy. It was 3:30 in the afternoon. I won’t be back.

So glad and appreciative to have such a fun new place in Columbus! You walk in and feel instantly transported to an upscale eatery in Manhattan. The vibes are fun and classy but not pretentious, and the food and cocktails are always excellent. I’ve been at least four times, and have always had such a great experience. We love to sit at the beautifully designed bar and enjoy watching the bartenders make the most amazing cocktails. Deidra is our favorite and we always enjoy chatting with her as she mixes up the best margaritas! On our most recent trip, she suggested I try an espresso martini made with reposado tequila and it is now my new favorite! And the PIZZA. I like them all, but the Lazio with ricotta and chili oil is *so good.* Black Sheep has easily become our new favorite spot and we’re so glad it’s here. I highly recommend checking it out!

Not impressed with black sheep at all! Everything seems very overpriced, our service was terrible!! She was actually rude! Like legitimately rude to us. There was only three tables in the whole place that had people sitting, including us, and another gal had the other two tables. Our waitress acted as if we were bothering her by being there and she was annoyed. We all thought pizza was pretty basic. I misread that the arugula came on the pizza. I thought the salad came on the side. When I asked, she was snarky about it. I did ask for the pesto dressing that goes on top of the arugula to be on the side. She was actually visibly irritated at this request!! I pulled the arugula off to the side to eat by itself, I asked her if they had any ranch and she said “NO! We do not carry ranch here!” Very angrily! I mean, I feel like it was a pretty simple ask considering Upland owns this business and they have ranch. I didn’t know it would be an offensive question! (Eye roll)
Then she couldn’t figure out how to use a gift card. She was actually a little rude about it because I had a gift card. Just not impressed at all. The pizza itself was pretty basic and not a lot of flavor.
