Went for the first time… pleasantly surprised! Food was good. Service was good.
It’s more a bar/ restaurant. So go in thinking this where the locals go for entertainment after dinner kind of place. That being said we went with the kids for dinner with no problem.
They had a billiard table, some other arcade type items. TVs around.
It’s split into 2 sections – left and right of the bar. Left has lower standard seating, the right many more taller tables.

First time here and we will definitely be back! Delicious food, sliders, Buffalo Chicken dip and southwestern egg rolls, all amazing! Great atmosphere, met some new friends, watched some great football games and I can’t rave enough about Meghan the GM and her great service and friendly personality! Can’t wait to go back!

Tail Race Tavern is hands down one of my favorite spots in Moncks Corner! The atmosphere is always welcoming—whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink, a good meal, or just to catch up with friends, you feel right at home the second you walk in.
Brittany and Ashley are my absolute favorite bartenders! They’re not only quick and attentive but also make the best drinks while keeping the vibe fun and upbeat. They really make the bar feel like “your place.”
And if you’re sitting at a table, ask for Alyssa W.—she’s the BEST server! Always friendly, fast, and she somehow remembers exactly what you like every time.
Between the great service, awesome staff, and laid-back atmosphere, this is the perfect local hangout. Highly recommend!

We stopped into this little bar & grill tonight and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food came out quickly. Our server, Kimber, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
I especially loved the jerk shrimp appetizer—perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Everything we tried was delicious, but the service truly put it over the top. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Kimber again!

Came for brunch with some friends. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, but after one bite I realized everything was cold—the biscuit, the gravy, all of it. On top of that, there was no flavor at all, and no seasoning available at the table. The waitress noticed right away, asked if I’d like something else instead, and took the plate back.
I then ordered the cheeseburger wrap, which was actually good and satisfying. However, when the bill came, I noticed the biscuits and gravy were still on there. When I asked about it, I was told they would only “discount” it rather than remove it. That felt strange, since in the past when I’ve had to send food back (which has only been a couple of times), I was never charged. On top of that, they charged separately for the cheese on the cheeseburger wrap—even though I didn’t ask for a special type of cheese or any modification.
Overall, while the service itself was kind, the way the charges were handled left me with a bad taste. Between the cold, flavorless food and the odd billing practices, I wouldn’t return.

The atmosphere is very comfortable, as in, this is your spot. Jada was our baryender/server/chef and was on point and super nice. The food portions fit the prices. Large portions but not too large and tasted fresh. Definitely going to be my new spot!

We went to Tail Race Tavern for the first time this week. The food was decently good. One critique is that they call one dry rub for the wings “old bay” and it is definitely not. It was still good, but it felt like false advertising. Kimber was a phenomenal waitress. One of my dining companions was very inquisitive and she answered all his questions with a smile.
