Hands down the best meals and value in Denton. Queso is the best I’ve ever had. Super flavorful. Shrimp cocktelle is huge and the best flavor. Ceviche is enough for many. Aztec tacos with before and nopales on blue corn are fine dining quality. Their breakfast are top notch! Love this place.

We came in kareoke night. It’s an ok place. We only tried the birria tacos, they were ok. The salsas are not all that. We also ordered the horchata and Jamaica. A bit sweet. Overall, ok.

AMAZING! I ordered birria tacos for a girls night and they were the star of the show! The staff is extremely friendly, food was ready fast, and it was of course delicious. I cannot recommend them enough!

As a regular customer I was disappointed at a recent experience. I ordered a combo meal for pick up (3 tacos, rice and beans) Upon pick up I only received 3 tacos. When I asked about my order I was told they could fix it. My tacos were transferred to another plate and beans and rice were added. I was charged for the rice and beans-
$4 for 2 mini messy scoops (their mistake they were missing) and took home cold dry tacos. As a regular, I expected better not to mention the price I paid for getting everything separately when I initially asked for a combo. Disappointed.

Here is our experience. Every time we go to the restaurant, we get great service. Every SINGLE time we doordash it is terrible and it is NOT doordash’s fault. if you doordash this place, check out how you can cusomize the food – YOU CANNOT. It tells you to call the restaurant and they will change it. We did this the last few times, and it always results in the same results – you do NOT get what you pay for. Tonight, we ordered the Tower (absolutely fantastic btw, wife LOVES it) and we did what we have done the last few times we doordashed – we called in immediately and told them to remove the spicy (hot) red sauce. They WILL do this if you are in person at the restaurant or they will remake it (they have done this too, when we are there) but when you doordash and call in – all you get is “okay, yes” when you tell them NO spicy. what you get delivered is a food item that is inedible. once, okay everyone makes mistakes. we call in and the manager tells us “we will take it off the bill” and we are like most Texans and say “no, it is okay this time”. second time, we just fume. third time, tonight, I called Karen (the manager – believe it or not lol) and she again tells us “we will remove it from the bill” and I tell her NO. i will write this review. I will also drop by on my way home from work to talk to the owners. We are just… tired of this. everything seems to be going downhill and even this once great place now seems to just accept constant mistakes and then the occasional refund the money because we hire people who cannot get basic things correct.

Authentic, delicious food & drinks! I’ve tried several items on their menu and it’s all been great. One item that we love and you don’t find easily are the Enchiladas Potosinas / Enchiladas estilo Rio Verde. They have a pretty wide selection of dishes to choose from but I’m sure you cannot go wrong with what you pick.

Ok, im an old fart and use 3 stars as average. Atmosphere: its fine. Strip mall restaurants, no frills. Karaoke on friday evening, a bit loud, but hey, wish I could sing. Service: perfect. Helped me when I couldn’t decide between a couple things, made sure our stuff came out fresh and hot, just tye right amount of attentive. Quick with a box and the check when we asked, everything with a smile and friendly attitude. Food: i had the asado de Puerco and liked it a lot. Something different than straight tex mex. Savory, not spicy, nice and tender. Rice and beans were solid, not spectacular. Corn tortillas were fresh as coukd be and tasty. Definitely better than the flour. She had bistec that came in a cauldron looking thing, bubbling away. Also tender and flavorful. Guacamole appetizer was good, fresh. No drinks, can’t rate, but there’s a full bar. Hot sauce will give you a kick if you use it.
Definitely a place to come back. Good, fresh food prepared well in simple surroundings.

My girlfriend and I dined in at La Fondita today and I will be recommending this restaurant to everybody I know! The atmosphere is electric, the food was phenomenal and every body was so kind to us as soon as we walked in! It looks so amazing inside and I won’t stop raving about the food and drinks!! Cesar stopped by and asked how our meal and evening was going, we had a full conversation about the whole experience and he was so kind to us! It was 10/10 we will definitely be back!!

The waitstaff is great, the food is tasty, and the music kicking. Breakfast tacos here are really good with their red and green sauces. Fajita dinner is more than enough for me, and the chips are fresh. My nearby go to place.
