I’ve been coming to Hearsay Market Square since 2012, and even as the menu evolves, the quality, service, and cocktails have remained consistently stellar. My visit today was absolutely amazing.
It had been a few years since my last visit, but the bartender, Destiny, reminded me exactly why I love this place. Her customer service was top-notch. She guided me through trying new drinks and made excellent recommendations for my meal. I left happily full and buzzing in the best way!
Highly recommend, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Great restaurant! Food was great and the ambiance was very welcoming. The staff were very helpful and always glad to help. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which came with rosemary/salt fries. The portion was good and all ingredients were fresh. The fries had the coveted crunchy outside (but not too crunchy) and soft in the inside.

On a quiet Monday night this was a good find. Probably the highest ceiling in a bar I’ve ever seen. Great ambience and cocktails. Just had the ahi tuna nachos appetizer – excellent!

Recently had dinner & drinks here – food was a little disappointing considering I have been very satisfied with the food at a few other locations.
Salmon & bread pudding dessert was just ok. My sweet potatoes were served cold. The wine glasses need to be replaced. Ahi tuna appetizer was delicious.

We made reservations for mothers day and everything was outstanding during our visit. The food was delicious and came out timely. Our server was attentive and friendly. We had the beef short rib plate and it was so tender. Just perfect. We also tried the scallops plate that was also perfect for dessert we had the bread pudding and it did not disappoint
The manager Mr. William came to check on us to make sure all was well and it definitely added a nice touch to our dinner. We will definitely go back!

1st visit was exceptional and we had short ribs and chicken sausage pasta. This time around we switched it up and honestly the food was just as great as the 1st time. The restaurant was not as busy this time around but the service was good. Destiny was lovely and attentive. We both had mocktails. The cucumber cooler with coconut water was a home run. The hot dog was a perfect bun to winnie ratio although the bar and restaurant have a nice classy feel to it im certain a casual lunch/dinner is acceptable at this vintage establishment.

I ordered chilaquiles and they served me dry, soggy, and cold ones. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and they brought a Campari. We asked them to turn on the stoves, but they didn’t and just left. The service was a disaster, and they were completely uncooperative. We spoke to the manager, who was incredibly rude and ignored us. It’s a shame that this place is so bad. I don’t recommend it. To get any service, we had to practically walk in asking the hostess to attend to us—she was a disaster, very rude, and argumentative

The building was absolutely beautiful! There’s a bar on the inside, high ceilings, great lighting, and some of the seating has beautiful greenery on the walls (makes for great photos)! We initially sat inside then decided to eat outside as it was a nice day. Off of the beauty alone, I would highly recommend this place, but the food and service followed suit! Our server was absolutely amazing, super sweet, fun, and knowledgeable of the menu! She was the one who offered us to try their pineapple mimosas, which were delicious! We also tried the deviled eggs and the cheesesteak egg rolls with a sweet chili sauce, they were both great, but I loved the egg rolls! For my entree, I tried the hearsay fried chicken and waffles, and I can honestly say I’m not a big fried chicken person, but this was absolutely THE BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had! It was was cooked and seasoned to perfection, extremely flavorful, down to the bone. The waffle was cooked to the perfection and fluffy! I would go back just for the chicken, but everything was perfect! 10/10 highly recommend!!!!!!

We have been here at least 4 possibly 5 times for lunch & dinner. It is always a treat. The service is always very professional & timely. The restaurant is clean & cozy. The food is excellent. The eggs & steak, artisan bread plate, steak & cheese egg roll, are what we tried most recently. These were all very delicious. My family raved about the Gumbo. I also enjoyed the delicious Couscous that came with the meal I ordered. Additionally, one of my family members let me try to red fish tacos which was phenomenal. I cannot forget to mention the delicious bread pudding. Needless to say, their menu is on point & has a good bit of variety. It’s not a cheap place, but you will get your money’s worth. It’s definitely worth a try. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat.
