Amazing authentic Taiwanese food options with sweet Asian aunties. Got Taiwanese sausage, chicken, noodles and cabbage. Quiet, nice to talk. Got some heavenly chief specials. Huge recommendation for anyone interested in trying out authentic Taiwanese cooking options. Great sauce pairings with dishes. Will come back.

Traditional and authentic Taiwanese food. The restaurant itself isn’t very big, it was quite a tight squeeze when our whole family got in. I’m not a big fan of Taiwanese food, but worth a try. The beef noodles are good.

One of the more authentic Taiwanese restaurant.
A lot of name on the menu are very similar to the Taiwanese type of cuisine. But the flavor is just shy off the original Taiwanese cuisine flavor.
Dear fry stinky tofu is a must try.

No frills, not fancy, but overall good food near Spa Hyu in City of Industry. Came here after the spa … craving the Dragon Whisker (Dragon Beard) vegetable, a newly discovered favorite I can’t get enough of! I originally discovered Dragon Whisker veggie at Eat Joy Food and had to come to compare the two.
Same ingredients just different because it is served as a hot dish here, while served as a cold dish at Eat Joy Food. While Java Cafe offer greater value, I prefer the cold version… it just had better texture.
However the star of our lunch was the bamboo shoots, YUM!!! The beef rolls were okay, we felt the wrap was too thick. Food and menu photos added for your convenience below.

We visited the area and stopped by to try based on reviews and we were happy we did! Bottom line is we tasted ‘authentic feel’ we haven’t experienced anywhere else. We aren’t sure if it was the ingredients or the recipe, the taste put us back in local food we experienced in Taipei.
Everything we had (pictured below) were excellent.

This Taiwanese diner has a down-to-earth and casual interior. The menu contains all the classics and plenty of southern Chinese homestyle dishes. The food is fresh, delicious, and as far as I can tell, very authentic.
The clear broth beef noodle soup is tender and highlights the natural flavor of the meat. Braised pork over rice is a classic, and this is as good as any I’ve found in California. Finally the stir-fried celery with bean curd, squid, and pork has a beautiful simplicity to it and is rich without being heavy or overly oily.

Flavor and potion size is good. Service is okay and aisle is a bit narrow. A bit pricy compare to other Taiwanese restaurants.

This is THE place for my favorite braised beef noodle soup. Cute little place and the food is great. The quality has been consistent for the past 10+ yrs. Their beef noodle soup is the best and peerless.
