My husband and I had a delicious lunch at Mavi while visiting Scotland on our honeymoon trip. Our waitress was friendly and attentive! Our food came out quickly and was freshly prepared.

Spot on!
We went for lunch for my husband’s birthday. The parking is a bit difficult as it is in the middle of the bus station, but if you are lucky enough you can find a few free spaces in surroundings within a few minutes walking distance.
Everything was fresh and delicious, lovely service from Donna and the apple caramel pie oh my God!!!! you have to try it( thanks for the recommendation Donna).
We will be back for sure.

Friendly and accommodating for last minute booking for 6 people. My wife had the BBQ Chicken, which was slightly overcooked and not served with much BBQ sauce unfortunately. I had the Tomahawk Sharer for myself as I was feeling brave to tackle it! It was good, however for a sharer there wasn’t much veg or chips given this is usually supposed to be for two people. My only issue was that I don’t believe each side was timed properly as one side was slightly more medium than the other side which was medium rare. It was tender and tasty though! I also had to present it better for the photo and video as all veg and sauce was served on a separate plate.
There were two other steaks ordered during our visit, both fillet steaks. My friend asked for medium which he got and thoroughly enjoyed. My sister in-law ordered a medium rare, but was slightly disappointed as it was more on the medium side.
If the timings for steak cooking gets nailed, this place has great potential! I will definitely be back to try them out for a 2nd time as there are other nice looking dishes on the menu I’d love to try out! Thanks

Place was dead; waited 40 mins for “Christmas dinner” which can only be described as frozen food heated up. Veg like rubber, turkey cut into squares?? Roast totties from a freezer bag. Kids meals were fine. But service was so slow. We told the waitress and she said she would tell the kitchen and that was the end of that.

I do recommend for sure. Food was delicious. But the only recommendation I have is, please change the wooden boards you serve the steak on. Can do so much better on presentation. I noticed so much wrong with the state of the boards we got.
Wooden boards harbor so much bacteria.
