I came with my family to celebrate my grandfather’s birthday since it’s his favorite restaurant to go to. I remember when they used to have a fish tank, which is now removed. The place hasn’t really changed ever since I was a lot younger and it’s looks much older. Perhaps, renovation can help.

We selected different entrees, which are fairly cheap. The food is good though, but the issue is that the flounder got smaller in size is that we easily finished the whole thing.

Another issue is the service, because we have to go up to them and ask for waters. There were times that my dad had to go up to them at least twice already. There may be other requests, but easily forgot what else we asked.

I also like how they probably kept their work phone since I’ve been hearing the same ringtone for decades.

Yummy food and excellent service. This is what I would say about Good Neighbor Restaurant.

The restaurant is not very busy when we have our table at around 6:30pm on Sunday. But lots of customers are coming in a little after we have our table. The dining room is full at around 7pm. We’re fortunate to have a table before everyone else comes. We are lucky because we can have a delicious dinner at a very reasonable price. Most of the dishes we ordered are of above-average to excellent quality. The best thing that impressed us was their customer service. The lady who served our table went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal.

I loved my experience at Good Neighbor Restaurant and cannot wait to go back.

I’ve been coming here for over ten years, used to get the lunch special at least once a week when I lived nearby.

Pretty much everything is good so choose whatever floats your boat. Like more Americanized Chinese food? Get the fried rice or chow mein (try the tomato beef pan fried noodles if you’re dining in). Want something more authentic? Check out anything on the choose 3 dish special on the back menu. Rock cod clay pot or any clay pot dish is so good with rice. Also try the shredded pork with yellow chives and bean curd.

It’s a great mom and pop’s authentic Chinese restaurant. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Parking is easy. The 3 dishes package is also recommended.

This is the fave family casual restaurant to visit and eat in the neighborhood. Food is often tasty and good — dine in or take out. For birthdays and long life, the crispy fried noodles with sauce and toppings is wonderful , ditto the fish fried rice, sweet and sour pork, honey walnut shrimp, chicken corn soup and steamed chicken. Family has been coming here 20+ years! It’s been so long, that this review is so late in complimenting their nice friendly and quick staff. Thank you for being in the neighborhood .

Good Neighbor Seafood Restaurant holds a special place in our hearts as our go-to spot for family dinners. Our love affair with their delicious cuisine dates back to their days next door to the big building in the same parking lot, formerly Lucky’s.

Their food is unrivaled in the area, boasting the finest Chinese flavors that keep us coming back time and time again. What sets them apart is their personalized service; they greet us like old friends and already know our favorite orders. It warms our hearts when they ask about other family members who couldn’t join us.

Even during busy times, the wait is never unbearable, a testament to their efficient service and commitment to customer satisfaction. Good Neighbor Seafood Restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s a cherished part of our family traditions.

My family likes going here for our Chinese food cravings. Not sure why, the food is just ok. We got the Beef Stew and the meat was kind of dry and the sauce (or lack of) was pasty. My favorite was the String Beans with Ground Pork though – that had a lot of flavor! Beef Chow Fun was decent too. I would probably get those dishes again for sure.

Not the friendliest people, but their 3 for $25 is a fantastic deal for what we had. Hot tea came right away. Ordered the eggplant not spicy, walnut prawns so crunchy and crispy flounder absolutely yummy. We also added wonton soup, it was just right. My mother is a regular there and trying it for the 1st time, I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered sizzling rice soup, green beans and a braised tofu dish. While wife was in the bathroom, I starting ordering, not knowing that she had already ordered and the waitress made a point to tell me that ordering any green bean dish would cost a dollar more due a shortage of green beans. That seemed kind of odd since the first thing I noticed when we sat down was a giant box of fresh green beans sitting on a table no more than 10 feet away from our table. When I relayed my experience to my wife, she said the waitress didn’t mention that at all to her. Ok, so after this weirdness, we waited for our order.

After an extended period of time, the sizzling rice soup arrived. When the waitress poured the rice into the soup, I knew right away the rice was not hot since the whole idea of sizzling rice soup is that the rice is supposed to be scorching hot so that when it is dropped into the soup, it makes a nice hissing noise. Not only was the rice not heated up, the soup itself was barely lukewarm. I called the waitress over to fix this issue. A few more minutes later and the green bean dish and tofu dish arrived. Neither could remotely be considered hot.
