Great ambience. Open, natural light, beautiful decor. Could accommodate large groups or enjoy dinner on the covered patio. I had the flauta plate. Complimentary chips and salsa. The frozen margarita was so cold and yummy it washed the bad day right off me. Fast, friendly service. Generous portions at a reasonable price. I’ll be back for sure.

We had a party of 17 on a Sundsy evening so, we kinda expected to be there awhile. However the only slow part of the experience was the greeted. It took the server quite a bit to get to us but then, it was all good.
Tge food was delicious! It was hot and authentic. Loved the Tablitas, the Coctel de Camaron and the fajita beef enchiladas. That red sauce was so good. All portions were above average and we felt like we hot our money’s worth.
Definitely coming back anytime we are in the area. Keep up the good work. Bravo to a delicious meal.

This was surprisingly bad Mexican food. I honestly can’t recall having such bland dishes in North Texas in the probably 50+ Mexican or Tex-Mex places I’ve been to. I genuinely don’t know how it has such good reviews because it didn’t seem to be an execution thing (not enough salt). The recipes were just not good. Even the refried beans were relatively flavorless and watery.
The server was super nice so I feel bad and we did pick it up about 10 minutes after it was ready but wow.

The mojarra fish is delicious it brings much of food that I had to take some home. The server was so nice she was the only one there a Thursday afternoon. Still the food came out very quick.

The enchilada dinner comes with 4 enchiladas and they were yummy. I ordered 2 beef and 2 cheese with white queso for the sauce. The salsa was very good!! My friend usually doesn’t get to enjoy the salsa with her chips because it is too spicy. She was able to enjoy this salsa and loved it!!

I ordered tacos and a torta. For take out. It was very slow and there was no one there. the cashier was nice but seemed disinterested. There was a lady sitting in the dining room, she seemed to work there and was on her phone. That’s that for the atmosphere.
The tacos were ok, the meat was over cooked. But the torta was really bad. Bread was burnt on both sides. Please see picture, the onions were big chunks of onions, Meat was over cooked, very shy on the ingredients and for no one being there, the food should have been better quality. I really want this place to be very good as I live nearby and like to support our local business but el garambullo needs to do better. I’ll give it another try in the future but it’s not going to be any time soon.

We tried the El Piquin for 2 and it was a massive portion! All 4 meats were seasoned deliciously, it was impossible to choose a favorite. The house marg was HUGE and definitely hit the spot. Beans and rice were a little bland, but they provided 3 different salsas to help spice them up. This is possibly the best value per portion size in town, and we will definitely be back (once we finish off our mountain of leftovers)

This restaurant is tucked away off the highway but more people should try this place out. Food and flavors are delicious. Salsa has heat and spiciness. I’m a fan of the cabeza and lengua. There’s plenty of space for large groups. Will be back to try menudo and seafood plates.

The food was overall pretty bland. The salsa was very generic and more tomato taste than anything, the chips were good and warm. I had the mixed fajita plate. The stars of that plate were the shrimp and sausage which weren’t anything special. The beef and chicken fajita meat was smaller and cheap quality. The fajitas did come our steaming. The rice was not very warm. The beans were very basic, maybe even canned. Service was also a bit slow for having only 4 or so tables seated at 6pm. Likely won’t return as there are too many options in the area to have a substandard experience at. The previous reviews on google (4.6 at time of review) are not indicative of my experience at this restaurant.
