The energy in the restaurant is great — lively but not too loud. Perfect for a group gathering. Our server handled everything with ease, even though we were a big group with different orders. Drinks came out fast, and the food followed soon after.
Every single dish looked beautiful and tasted amazing. The appetizers disappeared in seconds, and the main courses were just as impressive. My personal favorite was the short rib — tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
We ended the night with a round of desserts and coffee, and they even surprised our friend with a little birthday treat on the house. Such a nice touch!
This place really knows how to make guests feel welcome. You can tell the team loves what they do. We all left smiling, full, and already planning to come back. Definitely a five-star experience from start to finish!
1. I hope he is ok. He seems like a stand up person.
2. I am missing my fix! However, you get yourself right 1st.
The ambiance of the restaurant was strikingly modern, with sleek decor that exuded a contemporary charm. The addition of lush green plants scattered throughout the space added a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, making it a delightful place to dine.
Now, let’s talk about the food – it was simply outstanding! Each ingredient looked impeccably fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was so enticing that it sparked my appetite instantly. And let’s not forget about the delightful addition of a small bowl of miso soup, which perfectly complemented the meal.
Despite the high quality and deliciousness of the food, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the meal. With the total cost coming to around $12, it was not only a satisfying experience but also a great value for money.
As if that wasn’t enough, I was thrilled to receive a reward card that offered me a free meal after collecting 10 stamps. It’s gestures like these that truly demonstrate Drop the Dop’s commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
In summary, my time at Drop the Dop was nothing short of exceptional. From the friendly staff to the modern ambiance, delectable food, and enticing rewards program, it’s safe to say that I’ll be returning again and again for more culinary delights!
I kept eating until I was overstuffed and still continued to pick the remaining meat out despite the pain it caused to continue eating.
It’s a wonderful lunch option and adds something new, unique and very tasty.
The restaurant is nicely designed and very clean. The kitchen which is visible from the cash wrap is spotless. The music is at an enjoyable level for you to hear the music yet also be able to converse with your table mates.
I don’t know what else I can say, but it was good enough for me to write a dissertation on it.
They have a bunch of different seating options and plenty of choices on the menu. My only suggestion would be to have a light/medium/heavy sauce option because my traditional house special had a bit too much sauce for my taste. But absolutely delicious and owners who are happy to answer your questions. Traditional and tofu were delicious with miso soup and fantastic prices!
Is food tasty? Yes
Friendliness of staff 5/5
Is this place authentically Korean? I would say it’s a Korean fusion but the traditional Korean bibimbop had all the right ingredients to make it authentic. The sauce is sweeter than the typical gochujang that makes it fusion. For bibimbop’s complimentary soup you can choose between miso and seaweed soup. I chose seaweed soup that went well with the bop and felt authentic to me.
The exciting part for me was that they sell Sikhe (Cinnamon) drink. I may have to try it sometime.
