This Golden Chick on 544 is one of the newer spots, and you can tell they take pride in it. My friend and I went here for a work lunch—he picked it because he loves Golden Chick, and I have to admit, the food did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, tasty, and came out quick.
What stood out the most was the manager. He came out to speak with us, checked in on how things were going, and I noticed he did the same with everyone else who walked through the door. That kind of personal attention makes a difference—you don’t always see that these days, but it creates a welcoming atmosphere right away.
The restrooms were spotless (yes, I checked, I always do ), and the whole place felt clean and well kept. My only small thought—no ice-cream machine here. I always thought every Golden Chick had that, but maybe this one’s different. Either way, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our meal and experience. This location is one I’ll gladly come back to again.

Every single time I’ve been here, I’ve had a bad experience. Never once have I gotten everything I’ve ordered. I guess It’s my fault for assuming it was just an off night. but at this point it has to just be the culture of this establishment. A bunch of kids working the drive thru, I should’ve guessed. The better option is in Wylie

Best chicken sandwich I’ve had from any Golden Chick. Our food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The manager was extremely nice and helpful. He was working his tail off running the drive-thru and the inside lobby

Golden Chick is one of my favorites, coming from a state that has none. This new location in Wylie is nice! I ordered online, and my order was ready when I arrived. John was adorable and served me with a smile! Will definitely return!

Fast food in 2024 what do you expect. All fast food charge as much as restaurants and don’t even staff the place. The ice dispenser was empty and no tea in the lobby. Only one person working counter and cooking. Took 10 minutes to even take my order. No ac. No employees high prices. Sounds like a cash grab to me the franchise owner should be ashamed

I ordered online 2 boxes but when I went to pick it up there was only one box. I hadn’t realized until I got home and when I called them they said the rest of the order is there. So I had to drive 8 miles to go pick it up. When I got there she tossed me the box and didn’t even say sorry! She replaced the breast with a thigh! Her attitude has really bad towards us.
