Good food at a reasonable price and as a bonus they sell Tony’s Ice Cream. Too bad I was too full to have some. Heard this place was open as I’ve always wanted to try the other location. The BBQ was good and they have a good sweetfire sauce. I especially loved the Cajun Skillet Corn (highly recommend). The only disappointing part of the meal was the stale hushpuppies. Our food came out fast and may be a contributing factor in the stale puppies. Hopefully they’ll be better the next time we go and I can raise my rating.

I promise you I am not exaggerating when I say that this is absolutely the best bbq restaurant I have ever been to in my thirty three years! One way you can tell a good restaurant is by how attentive they are with their side dishes instead of thinking their main course is so good that they can open a can or box. Well this place did not disappoint. I always get the Cajun corn and baked macoroni and cheese because its the best! The brisket, baked chicken, bbq sauce, rub, sweet tea… It is all superb! Do yourself a favor and do not miss out on this special treat! The only negative thing I have to say is this place has no advertising what so ever and a tiny sign above the door. You would never think a tiny little spot like that would put out such wonderful food. But I do love staying away from those main chain places and their frozen processed food. Those family run, mom and pop places are where it’s at. This is the best example of that.

Hands down the best BBQ in Denver, and quite possibly some of the best I’ve EVER had. I ordered the 2 meat plate, brisket and pulled chicken, with okra, and mac n cheese. Everything was perfect (mac was a bit cold, but I took it to go – microwave). I especially liked the okra! Meat was very flavorful and tender, spiced just right. The original BBQ sauce is a great addition to mop up your meat. I over ordered, as usual, but the portions were good enough that I’ll have both lunch and dinner today! My new favorite spot in Denver!

We eat there often and I happen to know the owner personally (for many years)! The place is clean, the wait staff is wonderful and caring, and the BBQ is some of the best anywhere! My wife and I are especially disliking of any “fat” mixed in with BBQ; we have NEVER had that problem at Sweetfire. As a bonus, the fries are absolutely super! No wonder they recently had to move to a larger building!! Can’t say enough good about the place!

BBQ pork was excellent. Still working out the kink though service wise. Never got fries I ordered, tea was watered down at best, more like tea flavored water. staff had to refill, and knew it but never thought to come out to the table and ask me if I wanted a new one. Food was good quality with a generous portion.

I’m really sad they closed their restaurant in Lincolnton. But so happy they opened one in Denver a few doors down from me. Their BBQ is the best I’ve ever had. The smoked chicken is tender and juicy, not dry at all. Brisket is out of this world good. BBQ is perfect with several sauces to please any palette. They have a wide variety of sides to complete your meal. Good tea. Clean but small seating area. There are always people here so be patient it is worth the wait.

Large portions, delicious, smoky flavor on the ribs. BBQ sauce had a great kick and aftertaste. Mac n cheese was drier than we prefer but it was baked. Recommend the Cajun skillet corn. Fried okra was good. Come on a Tuesday, steady but plenty of seating.

We enjoyed our meal!! It was delicious and fresh!! We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy!! They ran out of a few things, so we didn’t get the full experience, but it was great! We ordered two super family deals. It was plenty of food plus some for the 7 of us eating. However, I wish drinks were included in the price since we ordered so much food. Overall, it was a great first time experience and we will be back soon!!

Went in to get dinner and ordered the 3 meat plate and a chopped chicken sandwich. Had brisket, wings and pulled pork. All 4 meats had no flavor. Seemed very bland. Brisket tasted oven cooked. Hush puppies were very dry and no sweetness to them. Fried okra was good and that was really about it. We did not finish and asked for a refund and explained to the manager. He had no issues, but did look puzzled. May try again in a few months.

I came to sweet fire a couple of years ago on a business trip and it was awesome. In fact I came in several times that same week because it was so good. I was so excited and even drove 25 minutes out of the way to go to their new location. Now since they have moved and made it all fast food it’s horrible. It’s so sad to see what was once so good so horrible. There was no flavor as if nothing was smoked. The brisket was very tough. They shouldn’t be allowed to call it sweet fire anymore.
