Great portions of good delicious food. This is mainly a take-out restaurant. But it does have 3 tabkes with 4 seats and a table of 6. We chose to order, pay and eat at East Garden. Friendly service, clean tables, great food !! ( Just clarifying as a review i guess expected restaurant service.) General Taos Chicken and Beef lomein in pics

A really great take out place. We ordered Dragon and Phoenix (General Zhao and stirred shrimp with veggies) and stirred fried beef, scallops, snow peas and pepper. Both dishes were delicious. The general Zhao chicken was balance between sweet and salty and the shrimp was jumbo and fresh with light white sauce and lightly cooked crispy veggies. The tender beef and jumbo scallops were cooked in a light brown sauce with fresh snow peas and green peppers. We highly recommend this Chinese restaurant for take out.

Simple family run business. They are always friendly, service is quick, and food is good. My favorite dish is c17: General Tsao’s Chicken, and I have it with white rice and a spring roll as sides. It’s a great price for the amount of food, plus it’s the best I have had at a Chinese restaurant in a long time. Also, I don’t normally eat Chinese spring rolls because they are usually too greasy, but the spring rolls here are great. I am attaching photos of the restaurant interior, my general tsao’s take out, and my fiance’s take out which was called Ma Po Tofu.

Absolutely incredible! Probably the 5th or 6th time I’ve been here and it’s been perfect every single time. How these guys have a 3 star is no representation of actually how good their food is!

I thought this “hole in the wall” restaurant was going to surprise us and be a great Chinese place, but it was definitely far from being great. The lady taking our order sounded rude, practically yelling at us to take our order. The dine in environment looked very unorganized with boxes everywhere! And the food was not what we expected. Very mushy, soggy, Not pleasant looking at all!!! When we told the lady what we ordered had BARELY any noodles like it was supposed to have and it looked mushy like soup, they did not offer to remake it or add more noodles, instead they said we had to pay for another order of BAD food! Definitely do not recommend this place. There is better Chinese food in Burlington Vt.

Do NOT get sashimi here. I asked it it was fresh…. Don’t wait to get home to check your order. Fish looked really old and definitely was mostly frozen until I ordered. Of the few pieces I did eat worried about parasites or effects from spoilage. Never going back

This place is extremely Nasty, the dining area was too small surrender by over 50 boxes full of dust the table was dirty and the restroom had a strong odor, also a rat was living the kitchen wish was disgusted, the owner was super loud and rude arguing with us over a mistake they made but refused to accept their error. The kitchen is nasty I almost feel like vomit The health department needs to check this nasty place. I will never come to this trash place again.

I was in the beautiful city of Randolph, Vermont, on a Sunday afternoon and went to East Garden for dinner. The cashier seemed to not speak much English, and what bit of English she did speak to me was snippy and rude. She tried to overcharge my friend and pretended not to understand English when my friend pointed out her error. Then she tried to lie and claim my friend’s order was already being cooked and could not be corrected before totaling her order, let alone, accepting her payment. STRIKE 1. A few moments later, when a customer that didn’t look like us (you already know) came in, she put on her best smile and spoke English to him clearly and politely. That was STRIKE 2.
After eating a few bites of my food, I immediately became NAUSEATED and had DIARRHEA simultaneously! STRIKE 3! After regaining my strength from spending my entire evening and half the night on the toilet while my face was in a trash can, I took a picture of my order.
Most of the people in this city don’t look like us, so perhaps they won’t receive the raggedy customer service, but FOOD POISONING IS UNIVERSAL. DINE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
East Garden is a gnarly blemish on the face of this otherwise peaceful, scenic, friendly town. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
