The food was great… but when ordering over the phone the lady never confirmed the price order before hanging up. Which is on me for not asking that’s ok. but,,, as i walked in and took another look at the menu it wasn’t the same prices that were posted on the “menu” tab. Everything had been updated but the prices online. Here i took a picture of the prices to make sure no one else makes the mistake of thinking a meal will be 8 dollars instead of 15.

Delicious, everytime. The woman and I have been here 10+ times, it is our local go to spot. There are so many different options and have Chinese, Japanese, and Korean faire. I think some of these reviews mentioning service may not understand differences of culture. Or maybe you are a Karen. Anywhosits, recommend the kimchi pancake, bibimbap, tofu soup and kimchi soup are fantastic as well. I’m super picky about teriyaki but I tried it there last time I was in and it was so good. I actually have the next three visits meal planned

I wish I had read these 1* reviews before walking into this establishment. If Joy is really a hard hardworking & customer service oriented, like these people try to convince new clientel, then she wouldn’t treat customers like they owe her or are robbing her a fortune instead be grateful someone is willing to pay 15+ USD for terrible service and small portion and to top it offf low quality appearance of a plate. Terrible service, poor quality and horrible attitude by the old lady. Had us wait for ten minutes before taking our orders and when she asked if to go or dine in she had an attitude and told us where to sit from the table we were already chosen to sit at, then when I headed to the bathroom to wash my hands before eating she yelled at me not to go and wait until she was done with the person she was taking an order from. Then when our food was finally served I asked for ketchup and she had an attitude saying she doesn’t have a bottle of ketchup around in here, and to have my 2 year old eat the chicken katsu with sweet and sour because I had order veggie rolls, had I not there would be nothing for my child to eat this dried up old katsu. Never will you have my business again and regretted choosing this as our Sunday meal with my family.

My family and I absolutely love Joy and this restaurant! The best food, amazing customer service, and my favorite bubble tea in Puyallup. Joy is extremely hardworking and I would give this restaurant ten stars if I could. Ignore all the 1 star reviews, people clearly don’t know how difficult it is to run a restaurant, check out customers, and prepare the food. Please eat here! You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful take home meal from a new place for us. Order completed in 10 minutes and prepared very well. Hot, tender chicken, pork Katsu and yakisoba. We will go again!

Personally, I would not go here. We ordered takeout and the food was so bland even after I added Sriracha, soy sauce, salt, and all the fixings. I got the chicken fried rice and my hubby got the chicken teriyaki, Which he said, tasted fishy. We both feel a little nauseous after eating here so beware. The restaurant itself is very poorly designed and not friendly for dining in.

If you go keep your guard up it seems that they were born in a barn they have no manners and dont appreciate their customers seems like their attitude is they are doing us a favor.why even have a business if you dislike dealing with people.
