I remember people raved about the donuts at this place. The SF Gate or SF Chronicle wrote a very positive review.
Finally made it here and tried the strawberry champagne brioche and the chocolate cruller. We took the donuts to go and ate them for dessert after dinner. The strawberry champagne brioche was better than the chocolate cruller.
The cruller had a strange oily after taste. Was odd.
Overall, the place was crowded. Maybe would come back and try their lunch.

Classy, much more than donuts! Clean and bright, beautiful glass ceiling! It’s like a walk back in time, with the decor, but modern and so uplifting! They have avocado toast and other food items. There is a child and baby friendly bathroom with a changing table and step stool for littles to reach the sink. A jewel in West Portal!

The creme brulee donut was simply heavenly!
We stopped by for an afternoon snack and came across this place. We decided on the creme brulee donut, beignets, iced cookie butter latte, hot latte and lofi spritz.
The donut had a nice even layer of caramelized sugar and a light creme filling. The beignets were warm and delicious. Both lattes are great, but the lofi I wasn’t too much of a fan. Definitely will be trying out different drinks next time though! They also have a brunch menu that I’m excited to try.
The interior was lovely and bright with the sleek marble design and gold accents. The employees were all so nice and welcoming. I would love to come here again!

Ordered the breakfast sandwich and mozzarella tomato focaccia. The breakfast sandwich was tiny with hardly any bacon, while the focaccia was just okay. Grabbed two donuts to go, but they were so oily we could barely eat a couple bites. Super cute spot, but the food doesn’t live up to the vibe.

Quaint dining room, with center orders island surrounded with tables and with stools on one ends. I ordered the Cobb salad style served with half poached eggs, fresh avocados and bacon and multicolored sherry tomatoes, all of it washed up with a glass of lightly sparkling rose from La belle France…..I enjoyed it, I will be back George’s…..

Omg donuts are incredible. My favorite is the Keylime. They are pricey, but a delectable treat. That you should definitely try at least once. I guarantee you will think about it later. Very shareable and beautifully presented.

If you want fancier donuts with a European cafe vibe, this is the spot. The interior is gorgeous and they have a good selection of unique donuts and beverages. Some of my favorites were the key lime brioche donut, fried brioche dipped in hot fudge sauce, and the caramel butter latte.

I’m so disappointed… I’ve been looking forward to trying these for about a year. It gets great ratings, I don’t understand. These were like eating sawdust, with about the same flavor profile. I bought 3 donuts spent $20.00 (inc tip). I feel that I should have just thrown the twenty on the street. Maybe someone else could have eaten. Place is nice, parking hard to find and metered. Staff was pleasant and welcoming.. Sad, because I had heard so much good. Apparently, people don’t understand that Brioche should be soft and fluffy, and crullers are egg based making them nearly puffed air. These were neither. Greatly disappointed

Walked in on a Saturday morning and were promptly seated (most of the other customers in line were for takeout orders). Their space was beautiful, open, and inviting. The staff was friendly and helped us decide which donuts to get. We ordered the key lime pie and crème brûlée brioche donuts. We also ordered the breakfast sandwich and chicken panini. The breakfast sandwich with challah bun and runny yolk was the highlight of our meal. Sad to say but the donuts, although they had good flavor, were unremarkable.
