I went here with my friend, after we went to the neighboring sushi time place for lunch. We both spotted this bakery when coming in, and we just had to come to check it out! My review is based solely on my selection.
Firstly, I love black and white cookies, and always a sucker for them, ESPECIALLY when made like this in a bakery!!! The cookie was big, soft, and baked with so much love! It was sweet, but not overly sweet, and it was baked fresh!! I did buy some other treats as you see, that I took back home for my family to have, and they loved the selections!
Secondly, the woman behind the counter was so nice, and welcoming! She was helpful with the selections I was looking at, and made it easy and not judgmental when she asked if I wanted anything else, and asked for a 4th sweet for the box. The prices are absolutely fair, and the total of the selection I made is definitely worth it, if not more, and will be back again for sure!!

This place came to the rescue when nobody else would! I had forgotten to order a custom cat shaped cake for my sister’s birthday weeks in advance. I had been calling around, but everyone needed more advanced notice (understandable). However, Moscato was able to make it happen only one day prior to me needing it. Not only did it come out superb, but the girls working the counter were super inviting, attentive, helpful, and thorough. There was one young girl with brown hair in particular who took my order, although I didn’t get her name. She was awesome! The whole family loved the cake and said the raspberry chocolate filling was a 10/10! So satisfied and happy that I chose to come here. We will definitely be returning for future events and birthdays!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR A SPECIAL EVENT. Been coming to this bakery for years. Definitely has gone downhill. Ordered an engagement party cake. It was truly embarrassing that they could even send this out. It looked so sloppy. The top of the cake was visibly lumpy. I called to complain and the owner asked to bring the cake back, mind you the party was starting in 30 mins..then expressed that he’s been in business 35 years. Very unapologetic. Would highly recommend using any other bakery!

Was recommend this bakery has that nostalgic atmosphere from my teens in queens. Not that many bakeries here on the island with that old school feeling let alone the delicious sweets they have. Got my son 18th birthday cake and was absolutely delicious definitely recommend this bakery.

Been coming to Moscato almost 3 years for everything like custom cakes and great desserts. Nice ladies behind the counter and the owner is very nice too. The cakes and desserts have all been first rate and delicious. Prices are very fair. Moscato will be my bakery of choice as long as I live in Bethpage.

A Gem! I Came here Christmas Eve in the am and saw long lines out the door. I waited patiently it’s an Amazing old school bakery with traditional Italian made specialties. I came for the Italian cheesecake and left with the American style it was out of this world! I dare you to find a better one. It’s serious! Decadent, creamy with a light Graham cracker crust cooked to perfection. My family went wild for it. Everyone ahead of me in line left with one or 2. I also bought a linzer tart and semolina baguette very good. Gabby helped me and she was a doll. I will be back, I highly recommend this place prices are more than fair for the quality. Delicious! A++++++++
**Update returned for the holidays for the cheesecake and in the process asked if they had a Brooklyn black out cake but the last one was sold I am told they don’t make many..the owner came out chatted and made me one on the spot! Such a good guy and Joanna was so helpful she’s a great addition to the staff. The cake was a hit delicious not too sweet but amazing, try the black out cake it’s a devils food cake dark with chocolate pudding you’ll love it. And of course the cheesecake is on another level! I added some more pics

Simple and sweet. It’s an awesome bakery with a simple way of creating the best cakes, pies, and cookies. You will not be disappointed stopping and shopping here for all your bakery desires. The service is excellent, and the attention to detail is A-Ok.

Shop family owned local businesses. The staff is very friendly and the cake was delicious. Of course the rainbow cookies were a hit. They cut them smaller which is nice if you want to try different items or use them in another dessert such as icecream.

My bf and I went there when the pandemic hit, the elder customer was telling us to go away and to stay away from her. Which was off putting but why are u outside when you know the risk and instead aren’t home and the owner didn’t say anything. We had to leave the store because of it. My bf went there and bought it the next time and we tried it, it tastes like they dunk the entire bag of sugar and called it a day. The dessert was too sweet and not edible. I never went back to that place since then.
