Maria is an AMAZING cook! She makes everything from scratch and it is some of the best authentic Mexican food we’ve ever tasted! She’s been in business for over 30 years! We went off Google reviews and were so happy to have chosen Maria’s Cocina for a late dinner. Perfect family atmosphere and our waitress was so nice! I had a beef burrito and my husband did the everything nacho. The homemade salsa and chips were addicting!! Couldn’t beat the prices either!!

A local recommended this restaurant and we are so glad we went. The atmosphere was quaint but cozy and welcoming. The service was excellent, very friendly. And the food was delicious. I had a chimichanga that might’ve been the best I’ve ever had.

Wow! This place is a gem. And a surprise. It was located in our campground. Very small but spotless. Excellent service. Superior food. Reasonable prices. Don’t be fooled because of its location. People lined up to get in and you should too. Seats maybe 25 to 30 so you may need to wait. We don’t live here but I’d go out of my way for dinner if we’re close. Maria and her staff did a super job.
Try it! Check hours first tho.

My son and I saw this place on the way to Eagle Point to go skiing. We we’re so hungry after that we gave it a shot. Parking was a little wonky because it’s at the front of an RV park, so just do your best. No liquor, beer or wine. Excellent food and service. Now, my family is from Guanajuato region of Mexico and that’s my preference, I Don’t “Tex-Mex”. Sorry we didn’t get before pics, it was so good we dove in.

Low key I think this is the best, by far, Mexican food in Utah. Love the cozy environment too with the little fire place right in the center of the dining area. I had the #13 with a side of cabbage (Maria’s favorite).

Best home made mexican food in town! And she has the best server in town to go along with it! Feels at home along with great food! Highly recommend!

Love this little gem. Met Maria for the first time this visit. We hit this place every year on the trip back to Cali. Awesome food and service.

Obviously, overrated. It’s not the worst food ever, but it’s incredibly bland. The spicy salsa is mild. The beans tasted burned. The rice had the most flavor. They appeared to be overwhelmed when serving 2 tables. Very nice people, though. Hopefully, they will receive constructive criticism and improve.

Probably the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I ordered a pork and bean burrito with cheese. I had 4 small pieces of pork and a very small portion of cheese melted on top of the burrito. The rest was beans. The burrito was only about 1/4 ” thick . Cost $14.00. Will not be going back
