Worst food and customer service we have had since moving here to the area in November! The food was nasty and undercooked and not as ordered! We not giving our pizza sauce nor icing for our bread and cinnamon sticks clearly stated on our receipt but the big guy behind the counter literally argued with my husband over them and we still didn’t receive them but were given extra buffalo for the wings that were already swimming in sauce and tasted old! I have worked in the pizza industry most of my life and this is by far the worst pizza and service I have received anywhere! We will not be returning and I have picture evidence and would appreciate management train their employees on how to read the print out so customers get what they are paying for….. The food went to the trash and we had to eat sandwiches because the dough smelled spoiled on 1 pizza and the sticks!

I have been to Hungry Howie’s in East Lansing three times. The first time was great! The deep dish pizza was fantastic. The second time I got a regular style pizza and it tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for about six hours. It was gross. Today I went back one more time to see if I could have better luck with the deep dish again, and the bottom was burned. The girl working was nice, but the pizza was nasty. All I could taste was burned crust. I don’t know if the ovens are set too high, there aren’t enough people working to grab orders out of the oven before they burn, or all of the above, but avoid this place. There are plenty of other pizza places in EL to spend your money at.

This store has excellent customer service! Employees are extremely kind and food is always good. Sometimes they do skimp out on the toppings (which unfortunately happened tonight) but overall great location.

This location was extremely unprofessional. They were short on drivers and chose to rely on DoorDash, allowing our food to sit under a heat lamp for over 20 minutes—after we had already waited more than an hour. We had to call just to find out what was happening.
When we arrived to pick up the pizza ourselves (with over 30 kids waiting at a party after a day at the water park), we asked for a discount due to the delay. Instead, the staff refused and chose to throw our food in the trash and refund us.
The manager and staff were rude and completely dismissive. This was by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a food establishment.
Do NOT order from this location.

I ordered the mix and match deal and when I arrived I was told I can’t use my discount by the general manager, that I always receive. I complied and received my food and left. When I got home I opened my bread and this is what they gave me. They burnt the cinnamon and the bread and still allowed it to be serve. The general manager made a big deal about me paying the extra $1 without both coupons but served me this. This is unacceptable from a service standpoint

The final straw of not eating here any more was having long dark hairs baked under the cheese and into my crust. The pizzas are never cut all way or have way too much sauce. The tracker is pointless because two minutes after you place the order it says that it’s ready and then you end up waiting in the store anyway. This place used to be our favorite and now we are not returning.
