An excellent visit with amazing flavored Ramen, Gyoza and Sweet and Sour Chicken w/veggies. The waiter was really friendly and attentive and the food came out so quickly. It was hot and flavorful. I mean really good. The Gyoza Pork was pan fried and was really fresh. Sweet & sour Chicken was really good too. Not too sweet and just a tidbit of spice to make it interesting. Best of all was the Fried pork belly tonkatsu ramen. WOW. Amazing flavor. Not too salty and very fresh. We will definitely revisit when we come back to the island.

What a great place! Lots of reviews were about ramen ~ which my son says was excellent! I loved my Kauai shrimp dish. But oh! Can I mention some of the apps?! We got the pork belly & spring rolls which were EXCELLENT, and calamari and sauce quite good, too. Fast, friendly service from Eric, such a nice guy. Shocked this place was not crowded, ample free parking in lot. Highly recommended, will go to again!

I was excited for ramen so for the price it was okay. Tried Miso slow roasted pork belly just seems like the pork belly was a let down and not fresh very dried out. I didn’t know they put corn, spinach, mushrooms in it, I expected a more Japanese infusion of traditional veggies like Wong boj fish cakes, green onion or Kai choy. The broth was okay, good portions of noodles for the price.

I had the pleasure of visiting here OVER A YEAR AGO and I’m still dreaming about it weekly. It was a last minute stop for lunch on our way to the airport to head back home. It was such a great way to end our trip on Kauai.

I had to share this so the public understands how good the ramen is here. I live on the mainland so it’s tough for me to make it back soon, but I can’t wait until the day I can!! GO!

Had the tantan ramen with slow braised pork, some of the best pork bites I’ve had. Broth was also amazing, definitely the best ramen I’ve had so far in Hawaii. Comes with spinach + there are several other vegetable heavy dishes on the menu. Clearly a family owned business with hardworking owners. Also a very good, big portion of noodles and food. Mapo tofu was also amazing!

It’s impressive how authentic the food is, especially for such a small island. This has become our go-to spot after diving. The service is friendly and fast as well.

Small but mighty ramen restaurant. Friendly service as soon as you walk in the door. Maybe the best ronkotsu ramen I’ve ever had. Large portions and very tasty.

We hit this place up after a long day of beaches and botanical gardens. We ordered the tantan chashu, the tonkatsu with Kaua’i shrimp, and a side of pickled vegetables. Holy delicious – both broths were delightful, the pickled veggies were spicy and balanced, the shrimp was some of the best I’ve had in a decade. Service was great, fast, efficient, kind and clean. Not much more you could ask for. Decor was a little bare but who cares when you’re eating this ramen!

I am writing this in the car on my way home because it was so good. The broth was so rich and you get a decent amount of food with it. My partner and I got the duck ramen and marinated pork. I highly suggest getting the tonkotsu broth. It was so good. Please go. It’s a bit tucked away but so worth it for the price
