Absolutely the best steak n cheese in the area. Angel burger was also amazingly delicious. Buffalo wings cooked perfectly as well this place is definitely doing food right not to mention the atmosphere matches. Definitely a must try if your in the area.

I didn’t want to share this place but I have to for the great people in this place. I had the best burger I have ever tasted. Let me tell you this place is no joke they can cook here. I will come back over and over. I was an executive chef for 14 years never had a burger like this, props!!!!!

Where to start…
This is my first visit to 526 grille. In hopes of finding a great place to eat in Colonial Heights I was let down again. I pretty much can solidly only rely on Mi Rodeo, Chicken Fiesta and Don Jose but that’s another story. The experience started off good, they have a good online ordering system and decent reviews between Google and Yelp. Though some of them are not so good and the owner only responds to high star related reviews I gave it a try anyway. I knew I was taking a chance and it blew up in my face. I paid $59 for approximately $20 worth of service.
I ordered:
1 x Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Add Cheese Provolone (+$0.50) Substitute Side Collard Greens (+$1.49) Add Sauce on the Side Homemade Ranch (+$0.50)
The chicken sandwich was decent and I expected it to be somewhat soggy since it comes covered in buffalo sauce and was a delivery order. The problem with this portion of the order is that the provolone cheese and the ranch were not included in the order. 529 was also out of collard greens. They state that they will call you for issues with your order/if you are a new customer but did not contact me to tell me that the collards were out. The restaurant took it upon themselves to double the order of green beans. I paid extra for the sides and toppings that weren’t received.

Wings were good, they were a little more on the honey side than old bay. Once again I paid for a ranch that was not included and they were not fried hard. I gave two stars for the chicken sandwich and wings.

This was the largest disappointment of the night. The common negative that I have seen on reviews is that this plate’s cost is too high. This dish is supposed to come with a side according to the online ordering system but it doesn’t let you choose one so I added in the comments to give a side of yams. The yams weren’t included but I did get the ranch for this part of the order. The side salad looked like it was a cheap bag of shredded iceberg premixed salad shaken into a to-go container and covered in shredded cheese. 60% cheese/40% lettuce and the house made ranch had zero flavor. Now to the $16 pork chop. Texas Roadhouse supplies 2 pork chops that are 2″ thick for this price. I received 529’s single chop and it was smaller than my hand and thinner than a McDonald’s burger patty. Total let down.

-very salty. Portion to cost too small.
1 x Homemade Mac & Cheese $3.50
-was pretty good!! Also part of the 2 stars but the portion size is definitely not $3.50 worth.
Overall – with the service, prices above, delivery fee and the generous tip for the courteous delivery driver that wasn’t wearing a mask I can not return and support this business. I really want to because it is a local, female and black owned business.

Super awesome staff (maybe owner?), just excellent service!
The steak salad was delicious too, and not a bad price for the amount of food/steak. A good amount of steak ratio to salad (I made it into two meals). So yummy. Next time I plan to order the same, but with bacon and blue cheese crumbles, so it’s sort of like a cobb salad.
They have daily specials every day and BYOB (as well as some beers on tap and bottled). I went on my lunch break when working, so I didn’t get to drink, but I plan to go back after work soon!

The atmosphere was relaxed the owner came to the table to find out how the meal was. Serveice was great. Anytime your glass doesn’t get empty is plus in my book. Pretty good food. I would recommend for a nice lunch..

Very good food, 5 of us came for a late lunch and everyone loved their food. Service was very good also with the waitress asking often if we would like refills or needed anything. Good, small and quiet place great for a meal to be able to have a conversation with others. They even checked to make sure we enjoyed everything once we were done eating. We’ll be back!

I went to this place years ago under old management, so it had been awhile. I came in with my grandmother this afternoon and has one of the best lunches I’ve ever had. Their specials board outside caught my eye, and I decided I’d try the chicken Philly. This was the best chicken Philly I’ve ever had, hands down, and don’t ever think I’ll have one better. My grandmother got the burger and was impressed with that too. I’ve worked at quite a few restaurants so I was blown away by the small things. The lettuce on the burger and my philly looked ultra fresh and had a fresh crunch. The tomatoes were perfect, the peppers looked fresh cut as well and there was a nice kick of pepper I could tell wasn’t just thrown on. When the basket came to my table it looked like something out of a commercial. The gentleman serving the tables was attentive and polite as well. The owner even came to our table and thanked us for our support and I was more than happy to tell her how this place has improved and how amazing the food was. I wish I thought to take a picture of my philly.

Hello everyone I dine here two days in a row the first day I had to hamburger and french fries but the owner was kind enough to put it on a sub roll for me because I’m allergic to Sesame seeds and they want to make sure I didn’t have an allergic reaction Hospitality was awesome from the owner and the the server day two I went by for the fish special as you note presentations awesome food was good yams are on point and once again the customer service was excellent this second time around if in the area give it a try because I have and they got two thumbs up from me
