Stopped here with friends to get a bite to eat. Absolutely amazing country style place. I got a burger with tater tots. You have to wait a bit for the food but it was fresh and good.

Stopped in to Outpost for a bite to eat and we were so glad we did! They were closing at 3 and we had to slide in at 2:45. They were so kind and happy to serve us!! The food was excellent! Highly recommend! Super cute little town. Ice cream parlor across the street was great, too!

6-6-23 lunch. Stopped in for lunch coming from Glacier NP to Helena. Wife had cheeseburger and fries and I had bacon cheeseburger with side of Chili. Burgers, fries, and chili were tasty. Staff was very friendly, place was very neat and clean. Must stop.

Great local restaurant we found along our travels through Montana. We were starving and there was nothing but miles of farmland as we rode our motorcycles through the Blackfoot Indian Reservation.
The restaurant was bright, clean and decorated nicely. We were warmly greeted and coffee was quickly dispensed!
The menu offered a nice variety of foods for breakfast and lunch.
I had a “Dusty omelet”, 3 eggs, ham, bacon, peppers and cheese which was delicious.
I highly recommend stopping in if you are touring Montana along the beautiful Route 89. It is worth the trip.

But an amazing thing happened to us:
Near the end of our lunch, the waitress came to tell us our bill had been taken care of. Unfortunately, being French, we didn’t really understood what it meant. We thought the bill was ready. So we just said “ok, thanks”. But when we went to pay our lunch, the waitress told us the lady who was seated next to our table paid for us when she left and ask her to tell us to enjoy Montana.
We were so ashamed that we didn’t understand at the moment and so could not, now, go and thank her…
Outpost Deli staff, if you find this lady again, please thank her a lot and tell here we, indeed, enjoyed Montana!
And it was also the opportunity for us to chat with the waitress who can, at first sight, appear a bit cold but is really kind. (we just need to improve our understanding of the Montana accent)
Overall, a great experience in a charming restaurant full of kind people!

Simple roadside deli with decent sandwiches and fair prices. 100% local business. Great homemade lemonade. Being a fan of supporting local we stopped here for lunch. 4 staff working and maybe 8 of the 10-12 tables were full. Took over an hour to get our simple sandwiches. We are talking deli subs, not gourmet cuisine. Not once did staff come to refill drinks or tell us our order was on the way. Food was basic but good. Could be 5-star with *ANY* level of service but clearly nobody involved in this operation has ever run or worked in a restaurant. Please for the sake of your loyal clientele learn to run the operation better.
