The staff is typically always nice but everything I go in here they are ALWAYS short staffed. One person, 6pm on a Friday, taking orders, making subs, working the cash register, etc. Takes quite a bit of time just to get some food. Tables are usually dirty, due to short staff.

I came through the drive-thru and the woman who was taking my order continue to say she couldn’t hear me so I finally spoke up and she said to me you don’t need to yell. I said seriously you said you couldn’t hear her next comment was I don’t know why you have an attitude with me. The second woman at the window that took my payment was extremely Pleasant and friendly but to be greeted that way by the first employee who obviously had a chip on her shoulder and accused me of being rude having an attitude plus the terrible sandwich I’m not kidding you is the last time I will go to the subway in Tawas

Employees are in desperate need of training. When I walked in they were on their phones while struggling to close a sub with way too many veggies.
The cutting boards had were a disaster with sub paper and veggies and sauce all over the place.
I did not ask for extra veggies but was given over 20 olives and 12 jalapeños on my 6” sub. I don’t mind a little extra but a good portion of them went to waste because I didn’t order a salad.
They also need to learn when to change their gloves, they didn’t change them once between the three sandwiches I watched them make and the touching of their hats and whatnot.
My visit was at about 4:50 Sunday the 10th 2023
I understand that new employees have a lot to learn and I’m not upset, but I did not have an enjoyable experience and I would like to if I come back since I don’t live far away and I do like subway sandwiches.
(Update) for some reason stopped here again and it was just as bad or worse. The told me I had to wait because they “didn’t have anything to make my sub with”. They had a half eaten sandwich sitting out on the counter. Left the roast beef and the extra cheese off my sandwich. Just don’t know why I went back. Honestly shocked they are still open.

Sub was fantastic. Sandwich artist was not very enthusiastic, but i brought him somewhat out of his shell. These youngsters need to learn how to talk to people. Selections was good and the price was fair.

I just recently in Oscoda for my anniversary and on our roadtrip back home we decided to stop at Subway for a snack in the car. I had a 20% off deal on my app and was trying to order our food through there. I tried 5 different cards but it kept getting declined saying error. I walk in and ask the girl about it she looks at me like I’m crazy and an other girl comes up and I show her the message. She tells me there’s nothing she can do because it’s a third party partner. I proceed to ask if there’s really no way for her to help me and she response rudely and say “you are the problem here” then she looks at her colleague and say “do not sell anything to her, she is not a friend” then she laughs and walks away. I left this place crying because of how rude she was. Would not recommend anyone to come here.

Haven’t been to this location in over a year but New Management a remodel staff with super friendly footlongs were Super Fresh I’m glad to see this cuz this is an awesome location to eat your lunch at and stare out at Lake Huron

Visity Tawas and was craving Subway. Came to this location and noticed it was new. Not yet finished. Lobby was not finished. They only had #1 employee working. This is a busy location because it is in a gas station. Shame on management for setting this subway up for failure. There what seemed to be a newbie working and was not yet upto speed to be working alone. Team is how you run a business. Lucky je was VERY NICE

If I could leave 0 stars I would took 20 minutes before I was helped which okay it happens but then the girl walked away in the middle of my order to stock and the guy helped the next customer instead of helping us finish up we left before the girl came back, tried drive trough first but I don’t think it was running? Didn’t see a sign tho.

I was charged more for the sandwich, than what the menu board said it was. When I told the employee about it, she was very rude and nasty. She said it was programmed into the cash register, and not her problem. The place needs a manager, and the employees need to learn some people skills.
