Great little neighborhood cafe ! I ate breakfast at Cindy’s for the first time during my recent visit to the RGV. I enjoyed it enough to go back twice more during my stay. Service was prompt and super friendly; even during the very busy Saturday morning visit. Food was served hot and fresh and cooked to order. No problem with the special requests and substitutions made by others in the group. Omelets were cooked perfectly, breakfast potatoes were crispy outside and meaty inside; most importantly my coffee cup never got empty ! Others in the group were complimentary of their ham and eggs, as well as the French toast. Excellent choice for breakfast when in the Mission area. I’ll be looking forward to maybe trying lunch on my next trip south

First visit. We had breakfast mid-morning on a Thursday. There were plenty of tables available. Our breakfast was great, served fast and at a nice price. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Very friendly place.

Ordered chilaquiles with chicken and cheese, it was delicious. Also ordered carne guisada which was ok. But, the gravy was very runny. Also ordered the migas plate which was very good as well. Sweet Tea was very good. Best one I’ve had in awhile. Not to sweet. Flour Tortillas were hot and fresh. Good Service and Great Food. Will definitely come back.

My coworkers and I went during an inservice day. I had caldo Tlalpeño- fresh, loaded with carrots, zucchini, and chicken. The corn tortillas are homemade- mazeca tortillas. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food served.

I ordered the machacado a la mexicana plate, it came with beans, potatoes and tortillas, everything tasted yummy. Can’t wait to try their lunch menu. I gave atmosphere a 4 because it could use some plants or some decorations on the walls.
