Our sushi, ordered to go, exceeded expectations and was absolutely delicious. We look forward to becoming regular patrons!
Things I loved:
Ramen was flavorful, Sushi was immaculate, Thai tea was the perfect addition to the meal
I will say, if you are not a fan of cucumber, the Naruto roll is not for you. Otherwise, everything was great especially for the price!
I will be coming back! (They also had Naruto playing on the TV)
if you’ve never had real ramen before i can see how you can say this place is really good, i guess. but it was an okay honestly. i had the spicy tonkatsu, the noodles tasted like store bought maruchan, the broth needed to be more creamy and spicy. and honestly the ramen didn’t even have much broth to begin with, disappointing! the pork was extremely thin, i’m taking deli sliced thin. I’ve had ichiran ramen before, and the portion of meat was better, extremely tender too, lol well it is from japan. The egg i ordered with it was a hard boil which was fine but normally is soft boil, my complaint is that it was cold!! how is there cold egg in a warm soup? along with the ramen it had some corn, the corn tasted like it was frozen corn and not actually fresh. aside from the ramen i had the pork gyoza, now those were actually good surprisingly, but there downfall was the fact that they were cold a bit again howwww?? anyways this place is eh okay, most likely won’t come back again. there’s definitely a better place for ramen in gwinnett area, but unfortunately doesn’t open til 5pm so i had to settle for Taiyo.
My favorites were the golden salmon appetizer and the spider man roll. Everything tasted very fresh, and flavors were well balanced.
The pictures online simply don’t do the meals justice. Each dish was beautifully presented, and more importantly, the food was hot and fresh. The ramen was rich and flavorful, and the sushi was made with the freshest ingredients, offering a perfect balance of taste and texture.
The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with recommendations. Every aspect of the dining experience was carefully attended to, making it a truly enjoyable visit.
I highly recommend Taiyo Ramen and Sushi to anyone looking for top-notch Japanese cuisine. You won’t be disappointed!
