We got take out from this restaurant for the first time yesterday while traveling through the area. We absolutely loved the food and enjoyed talking with the friendly owner. We got the curried goat, oxtail, jerk chicken, and soup. There was so much flavor and love put into the food. It was such a treat! Looking forward to trying more the next time we’re in the area.

From the moment I walked into The Naked Chop, Richard greeted me and my mom with the biggest smile so welcoming and pleasant! I already knew what I came for: the oxtails. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The flavor was impeccable tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was pure joy!
Richard even offered me a sample of the curry goat, and wow… it was absolutely delicious too. You can taste the love and care in every dish. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food with amazing service, The Naked Chop is definitely worth the visit.

Amazing! My wife and I visited Naked Chop recently and had an unforgettable experience. First and foremost, this is currently a one-man show and Richard does a phenomenal job. This was our first time in and Richard couldn’t have been more welcoming and kind to us. He was gracious enough to allow us to sample a few items since this was our first, true introduction into Jamaican food. We ended up ordering one of everything IT WAS THAT GOOD! The menu changes so that day it was Goat, Oxtail, curry chicken, brown chicken, and beef patties – all top notch. The flavors and textures were eye opening. I would never order things like oxtail or goat if Richard wasn’t kind enough to allow a sample. Just an incredible, welcoming and refreshing experience we haven’t soon forgotten. Please, give Richard and Naked Chop a try if you haven’t already! The reviews are real and I promise it will be worth your time.

I stopped in for lunch and met the owner who helped me pick out a sampler. I’ve never eaten Jamaican cuisine before, but everything was delicious. It was a large portion, so I shared some with my co-worker who also found it to be tasty. I plan to go back again!

The most flavorful Jamaican food I’ve ever had. This man can cook! I’ve tried a few Jamaican food spots before, and this is by far the best! Richard truly is doing an amazing job at this. I will only be ordering from this spot when I have a taste for some true authentic Jamaican food. My favorite dish is the stewed oxtails. They are so savory and no fat, all meat!
