I ordered two pupusas from this place, and they were dry, barely had any filling, and tasted like they came straight from the freezer—definitely not fresh. I wasn’t expecting much, but for the price, I at least wanted something edible.
The worst part? Customer service. I called nicely at 1 PM on Wednesday to speak with the manager (or whoever was in charge), just to let them know about the poor quality. I didn’t ask for a refund—I simply wanted to provide feedback. The lady who answered was extremely rude, refused to let me speak to anyone, and hung up on me. When I called back, she told me to stop wasting her time and hung up again.
What kind of business operates like this? I’m never coming back.
Also, don’t trust their positive reviews. They bribe people into writing good reviews by using a lucky spin wheel. When I asked to spin it, the employee said I had to write a good review first—even if I hadn’t tried the food yet! So most of their 5-star ratings are fake and written by people who just wanted free food.
Save your money and go somewhere that values quality food and customer service. 0
