I have been wanting to come here for some time. I love sushi. My only gripe is that there was no sashimi. What they had was very good and the servers were very pleasant and cordial. The atmosphere was quaint & clean. I love seaweed salad so that was the highlight of the meal from me. I really enjoyed a unique soy sauce they have on the table. And their Wasabi has a nice twist to it. The ginger is quite good. But the ground tuna just did not do it for me. Overall I really wish there was a 4.4 or 4.5. I probably will come back.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It is absolutely the best Sushi restaurant anywhere around the Asheboro area. The service is always top tier & the atmosphere is so light & friendly. The food portions are large, especially for sushi rolls! My husband frequently gets the ramen there as well which is a massive bowl full of goodies! Such a good value! I’ve always been impressed every single visit to the restaurant. Me and my husband go at least once every week or two!

My daughter and I stopped by after a visit to the zoo. We were so pleased with our meal. Everything was truly exceptional. Care was given to each dish. We have lived in NYC and Philadelphia and this sushi meets big city expectations. The tuna tataki appetizer had amazing flavor. We also enjoyed the shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll (which was actually spicy!), and a specialty roll. Will definitely return!

Going in, I had heard a large amount of information regarding the quality of food and staff however, it’s something you honestly need to witness first hand.
The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful even though they were absolutely slammed with customers, yet their spirits were high and they took care of it everyone’s equally.
The food, words can’t describe the flavors and textures my mouth felt from the crazy tempura roll, but I know that I immediately wanted another.
I look forward to my next visit for sure

Sushi by the zoo tonight. The spider rolls were perfection. The vegetable rice bowl and vegetable eggrolls were delicious! Ending our meal with dessert was the right choice. The crème brûlée was superb!
Service was fast, friendly and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend!
