Lunch for us today. Just got into town waiting for check in time at the resort. They were open at 11:00 and we’re seated and gad our food in 15 minutes. I had the meatloaf parmigiana and it was excellent. Pizza was terrific as well. Good prices and good service. Would go again.

Best Italian out here when it comes to home cooking style. Always tasty and filling. Best bang for your buck. Always well staffed and quick. And yes, the wino in me enjoyed the very, very heavily poured glass (going against my own decades of fine dining training and serving experience). Good family environment. Reminds me so much and fondly of the restaurant I basically grew up in and worked at. I’ve met Mario at a chamber mixer and his warm and friendly personality makes you feel like part of the family. This shows in each of his restaurants. Great guy; Great place(s).

Great service and outstanding food. In town from San Diego for Sandstorm lacrosse tournament and needed to carb up for the games and was glad to have found this place. Another of great food for a very fair price. Will return to eat here again.

Fabulous Dinner this evening ! . I had the forest special my husband had the Chinese chicken salad and it was superb! . Thank you Mario’s for an amazing meal. Thank you for being open for us locals to do carry out during these times . We will definitely be back for more soon .

We had been coming here for 11 years but this was the last time.
I order the same dish, chicken Alfredo. I always order the large portion and can never finish it but that means I get to take some home for the next day. This time the portion didn’t seem to be as it usually is and I easily finished the dish. I mentioned it to the waitress and she told me the owner was in the back and she would tell him. Now I was just mentioning it and didn’t really care. The owner came out. His breath stunk like he just lunged a cigarette before coming to talk to us. He proceeded to tell us that we were probably mistaking his location with another Mario restaurant. Even though we told him with live across the street and this is where we come. He basically came out to tell me I was wrong and the portion is the same as always. He didn’t offer any apology or anything else despite being told we have been patrons for 11 years! It’s pasta! You put barely any of your pounded down chicken and make the whole dish for about $2.50!!!
To top it off, when I went to pay with my credit card, the waitress comes back and in a loud voice tells me it’s been declined twice. (Just an attempt to try and embarrass me) I called Visa when I get home only to find out the dimwit didn’t run the card correctly!
Luckily there are 2 other Marios close by. And thanks for telling us you’re the only one not owned by the family. No wonder you’re never as busy as the other locations. And you just lost another 2 customers….. Keep up the good work!! Rude and argumentative just like another reviewer wrote.

I have been a regular customer at Mario’s since I moved to the Coachella area. I almost already bring friends, customers and employees spend anywhere from 100.00 to 350.00 an evening and always leave a generous tip.
I drink one of the cheapest wines on the market Lambrusco I was surprised to learn tonight that while more expensive wines are on the happy hour list mine was charged at double the price per glass. This may sound petty when you are paying 25.00 for a single plate of food. But I feel very disrespected being a loyal customer.
I hope the extra profit you made on my glasses of wine were worth losing a good regular customer.

We have eaten here’s a handful of times and really liked it as far as Mario’s working with Postmates it’s a bust! We have tried to order three times during this lockdown. And because we can’t go there they have you order through Postmates two times we waited over two hours for
our order and then we’re told that it was canceled and they were closed by then it was too late to order from anywhere else tonight we ordered and waited an hour 20 minutes and then we’re told they were out of pasta sorry that’s not good business practice to run out of what is supposed to be the main course. The time before this it took us three days to get our $70 back when we didn’t even get our food! The third time is definitely not the charm and there won’t.be a fourth time although it is really good food and the atmosphere is great it’s kind of annoying when you wait a couple hours and then you don’t even get dinner Thanks but no thanks. Time to find another great Italian restaurant!
