This cafe is the cutest. I’ve been twice this week for the iced coconut ube. We dined in and the food is brought to you by kind staff. In fact, they brought the kids coloring books. The samosa are huge and shareable. Very clean, inside decor is gorgeous. I think they could be even bigger by expanding their drink menu. 10/10

Unfortunately, I need to change my review after visiting here a few times.

The chai was just so disappointing. Iced chai is usually made of concentrate and it’s fine. But their hot chai, I believe, is made of flavored powdered mix. Like those gross individual servings you can buy at the grocery store. There’s no way someone cooked an authentic chai and made this watery, gross, separating thing.

It’s just so disappointing. I was so happy to have a local, casual desi spot. But you’re not that if your chai is fake.

Also, the samosa chaat is not chaat at all. And it’s very very sweet. The nihari is actually good but boy is it overly spicy.

The dessert boxes are kind of gross. They taste so off and they’re extremely expensive. Their dessert prices are genuinely unlike anything I have ever seen before.

This was an absolutely lovely cafe! I went with my family to check it out after seeing in on Instagram, and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were very friendly, and they gave fantastic recommendations. The store itself was very pretty, with a cozy atmosphere. It was clear they put a lot of effort into presentation, decorating both the cakes and the boxes they came in. We got some of their cakes, chai, and Nihari- all of which were delicious, rich, and authentic. We’d definitely recommend checking them out!!

I’m truly blown away by the unique flavors! We ordered the ube coconut & mango lassi cheese cakes and the arabian milk cake. They were all very flavorful. The milk cake is rich and a generous portion size.

Can’t wait to try more flavors!

Highly reccommend the pastries and the masala chai. But especially the masala chai, I have had many and this one is my favorite. The service here was also good! It’s small but very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is very casual but so inviting! We loved the fresh bouquet of flowers at the front of the store. I think the food menu could use a revisiting, I think it kind of distracts from the pastry & tea offerings. It was sooo many pastry options and I am sure they’re all amazing but it makes me concerned since there is so much stock and so much variety how fresh it could be. The amount of options is a bit overwhelming also to narrow in on a selection. I think it’s also a bit chaotic visually in the display case. I have high hopes for this place. It’s already so great and I want it to stick around and so I have some feedback that I think could increase the bakery’s approachability and appeal. Completely enjoyed my visit and will absolutely be back!

Not good. Tried the black forest cloud cake and chicken roll. The cloud cake tasted like store bought abd roll felt frozen. Moreover the cloud cake was 13 + bucks for a small quantity. Wouldn’t visit again.

I loved my experience at Ammi’s! The food is delicious! It is beautiful and flavorful. I also got a rose pink drink that was beautiful. This place takes a lot of care in the food and drinks they create and it is appreciated. I hope they continue to be successful because I’d love to keep coming back.

How dare you, this was the best chaat I’ve had in years. And the fudge brownie?! ! I’m trying to save money for the holidays but it’s impossible with this restaurant right across the street. Food is insanely good, the packaging is beautiful, and the staff are thoughtful and kind. Ammi’s is going to financially ruin me but totally satisfy my sweet tooth and cure my lunch time hangry.

We had seen some Instagram videos about this place and wanted to check it out for ourselves. It did not disappoint! We love Indian food and desserts every now and then. We got a few dishes on the menu and they are super rich in flavor. You will most likely have left overs. You can order to go or dine indoors or outdoors. Great for date night and smaller families.

What a cute cafe! Upon walking in we were greeted with salaam, warmth, and smiling faces. The place is super clean and I love the decor. We got the samosa chat, chicken biryani (pleasantly surprised to see that option – probably just a limited time), Oreo cheesecake, brownies, and ras malai cake. Everything was so delicious. I’m so happy they opened up in a central location. I have always loved Cilantros samosa chat but Cary was way too far of a drive for me to make often and now this cafe just made my fav dish on their menu so much more accessible! Love the presentation and you can tell they care a lot about details. I love ras malai so I was intrigued by the cake and it’s really interesting- very light flavors- ras malai layered with whipped cream and just overall a unique dessert. They have a great selection and everything looks so good. Really looking forward to coming back with friends/family and trying more items.
