Mauricios Mexican Food & Pizza Cantina

Came in for lunch. Camilla was our server. So attentive, nice, friendly and we really enjoyed the chat! Camilla was a highlight to our visit! The food was also good. Chips were warm! The ranch salad dressing was homemade. We had a carne asada burrito and the lunch chili relleno plate. The place had beautiful decor and we would come back! Great spot!!

Sweet people and helpful staff. No cut on them, but having been to many authentic Mexican places all over Southern California, the food was very bland. It seemed to be a fairly low salt content, if that is your thing, but otherwise pretty tasteless. Also the menu was not super clear about how the dishes are prepared or how to order. Wobbly tables, poor decor and a menu that doesn’t make up for those weaknesses forces the two- star rating.

Menudo taste very earthly The server took away the garnishes( cilantro, onions, and spice container) to give to another table before I even started to eat my menudo. Servers are more worried about their own conversations then help actual customers. I had to flag down a server every single time I needed something and took very long time to even get my check. Overall very disappointing experience.

Yum! This was our first CA Mexican stop after traveling from Oregon, and it did not disappoint! We actually had planned on another place not far from here but parking didn’t allow it, which honestly was a blessing in disguise. I got the carnitas tostada (huge!!) and it was topped with delicious guacamole. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. My daughter got the pancakes and eggs and she enjoyed them. Large portions, extremely friendly service and great food. I hope to be back in the area again someday to visit.

This is long over due. But this location is really good. The food does not disappoint and the staff is always so attentive. Actually I see lot of regulars and the staff make you feel welcomed. It’s like a community type feeling!

Got a tray of 24 hard shell beef tacos for our early Christmas with the kids in California. They were delicious. The salsa is out of this world. Get it and put it on. WOW. Definitely will be back. Since Manny’s is closed this is our new “Go to place”

Wow, what a find as we were traveling from Vegas to LA! 4 adults, one 3 yr old! We all loved it! The margaritas were the best we had in a few days, even after being in Vegas!, tasted like top shelf, but it was their house margaritas! The Carnitas were absolutely delicious, caldo de res delicious, quesofundido was amazing, soft tacos with Carnitas incredible,
Chicken Mole was to die for, and my granddaughters kids bean & cheese burrito was eaten with out a peep, my Carnitas with a side of tomatillo sauce was out of this world! This would be my regular go to weekly cuz it’s just that good! Seriously! This place checks all the boxes, service is awesome as well!!!!!
