This was FUN. It took just a little bit of looking to find where we were going, but that’s the whole point. It was small, dark, and cozy inside, just like a speakeasy should be. Our server didn’t know much about liquor or the drinks, but he wasn’t afraid to ask the bartenders for clarification (who where totally great). Our drinks were amazing. I had a Corpse Reviver #2 – my first absinthe drink – and it was spectacular. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Bismarck.

My boyfriend and I were staying the night in bismarck on our way home from a road trip! We found this place to check out as we both love quality cocktails and speak easy vibes. it was immaculate; the slight challenge to find the entrance, the decor, the music, everything! Piper helped us that evening. she was very knowledgeable and made the experience personal & comfortable. i asked for a suggestion on my second drink and was met with a delicious unique cocktail that my boyfriend and I both loved! Overall would recommend to anyone who appreciates a quality drink & atmosphere.

Piper is always amazing! As well as the rest of the staff. She makes awesome drinks and always gives us something new to try. We love the vibe and atmosphere here and love taking people there that have never been. Will continue to go back!

Where to even begin, from the moment we walked in Piper sat us and made sure we were comfortable. She started to question and quiz which drinks we liked and didn’t. She recommended drinks that would be best for our tastes budz and even had us try some we’d never order. Over all She was amazing with service and clicked very well with our group. Next time I’m in town I’m definitely stopping by for some drinks and a fun time.

Have been to the speak easy in the past when it was busier – Wednesday night the atmosphere was very intimate and more of an experience than a busy bar. Piper facilitated an adventurous, fun, charming environment with engaging conversation & delicious drinks she created herself and some from the menu she suggested. Truly the most flavorful drinks I have ever tasted! We played chess and chatted over candlelight until closing time at one while the snow fell outside! The decor is older with antique furniture, there are books and games to explore, and the drinks are served in hand selected crystal and glass cups. So nice having a unique spot in Bismarck open late! Wonderful spot to celebrate a special occasion, hang out with friends, or have an evening to yourself. It is wheelchair accessible with an elevator on the lower floor you can take up to the second floor where the hidden door can be found. Thank you again Piper for a memorable anniversary date night! Love the Speakeasy.

I visited for the first time yesterday and I absolutely loved the layout of the place. It seemed a little busy, but our hostess, Piper, still got to us promptly. I was impressed by the range of drinks on the menu, which were amazing and quickly served once we ordered. I would give the place a 5 star rating except for the music, which was uncomfortably loud. I had to raise my voice for my friends who were sitting right by me to hear me, and I struggled to hear them. If the decibel level were even just cut in half, it would immediately raise the atmosphere of the place. I would definitely come again though!
