Damn Yankees Watering Hole is a must-check-out spot along the Wolf River. The building is beautiful both inside and out, creating a great atmosphere the moment you arrive. The food was delicious, and the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. Easy access from the river makes it even better—boat in during the summer or snowmobile right up when the river is frozen. We’ll definitely be back.

Great place for pub fare and cheap beer. Very reasonable prices, fast service, good variety, and comfy atmosphere. My only small recommendation is that they reduce the amount of salt they use in their food. I love salty food, but the brat burger and cheese curds were VERY salty.

Have been there several times for breakfast. Nice not being jammed into a small dining area. Wonderful having some shoulder space and breathing room. Absolutely amazing service, staff is friendly and courteous and the portions are large. Good price for everything all around.

The Friday fish is quite good, and a trip to the salad bar is included. The place is open and airy inside. The outside has log cabin vibes and features plenty of patio seating. Everything is clean and the staff is friendly. Worth the drive, which is pretty damn scenic anyway.

This place is a hidden gem. I stopped in on the motorcycle with some friends and I cant wait to come back with my family for dinner and fishing from the dock. Update: finally made it in with one of the kids to have some burgers. The cheese curds were great and best I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Friendly staff. Not a bad place for some cheap but delicious eats.

Had dinner at Damn Yankees tonight. Hubby had deep fried Haddock and said it was OK. I had the French dip. The meat was dry and there was very little on the bun. I was very disappointed in our food. SIL had walleye and did not eat it all which told me it was just okay. Tried here a few months ago and same thing. Thought maybe an off night. But tonight said probably not. It will be a while before we try here again. Maybe next time the food will improve. We go out for fish every Friday night. Getting hard to find a great fish fry.

Stopped here the other day with a wedding party and I gotta say this place was really nice. Boat access off the Wolf River, spacious fenced in sand volley ball court in front. Everything inside was super clean and well maintained. Bar tenders were very cool, quick and cheery. Very nice tribute to the Armed Forces outside the building.

Pretty cool restaurant. Lots of options for sides. Had a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was fantastic. Big and crisp. My wife had the crispy chicken wrap and enjoyed it as well.
