Came in early to sit at the bar on Tuesday 3/3 for Toledo restaurant week 2026.
The bartender Jess was very nice and attentive. Helped to choose out the Hotel Monteleone since I asked for something sweeter off the Golden Hour Menu.
Sweet drink with a bit of a sour tinge to it, great choice. Other drinks being made also looked interesting.
The Beef and Barley Soup had a good flavor.
Didnt ask if they make it themselves but the wheat bread was delicious.
The honey glazed chicken…… mind blowing, the meat was so moist, loved the sweetness of the glaze and the savory of the stuffing. Potatoes and hash were pretty good as well.
The lemon posset and blueberry cookie….I dont think I’ve ever had anything so smooth that has just enough lemon to it. If you eat the cookie with the posset its adds a nice sweetness to balance it out.
Definitely hope to come around here and there to try out items on the ever changing menu.

Treat yo’self alert!!! Only go to Registry Bistro if you want fresh food, cooked to perfection. I had the sablefish and as they say, my compliments to the chef. The fish was melt in your mouth delicious and the veggies were a perfect complement. I had the mixed green salad and a Smoked Maple Manhattan as well—both had wonderfully balanced flavors. Nice ambience as well; quiet and cozy. A must-try if you’re in downtown Toledo.

My husband picked this restaurant as ab anniversary surprise. He called ahead 3 days to inquire about a reservation at the window. He was very disappointed when we got there by 5:30 as he understood but to not get a window seat for us. Complimentary champagne was given which was a nice thought. We dont drink. There was a $15 compensation on the bill. It was a bit chilly and I did have a medium jacket over tank.

FOOD: the fork & knife salad soo good! The brussel sprouts with whipped feta delicious. Soo many flavor layers. My husband really enjoyed his venison pot pie and I the rack of lamb with jeweled rice. The bread & butter was very yummy. Bread comes from a baker in NY. All staff very nice. The pear tart was superb! As was the blackberry gellato. Soo much flavor in the blackberry gellato.

CLOTHING: we decided to dress up a bit but people came in street clothes. Staff looked nice even wearing jeans.

Would I return? Yes. If I wanted to take someone special visiting for a nice dinner, I would know I could here based on experience.

Our appetizer and cocktails were the star of the show here. We had the miso feta brussel sprouts, gf gnocchi, and ribeye filet to eat. For drinks we had Grandad’s Favorite Poison (don’t love the name, drink was incredible) and the Rhubarb Sour. Both drinks were phenomenal and masterfully made. We celebrated a birthday and were given a complimentary chocolate tart which is vegan and made with tofu which blew us away.

The brussel sprouts were really great and had me sopping up the dish with bread. The Ribeye was a little over cooked for medium rare, and was just okay, the potato faux marrow was novel but lacked a ton of flavor, which surprised me with the ground mustard.

My wife and I had a very nice meal! Portion sizes are smaller, so I recommend getting an extra app or 2.
You could tell the chef great pride in their work. The presentation was excellent! And the food was delicious!
The atmosphere put it over the top, we had our own “balcony” and it was a quieter night. So it was very nice!
We will be back!

We went here with my parents for a family dinner, and even my picky father enjoyed it. I love that there’s a seasonal menu, so we can go back and enjoy something new. We made reservations and we were seated by a window, which was nice, although the whole place had a great ambiance. My partner said the Dover Sole was the best fish he’s ever had, and my father (who is usually a meat and potatoes guy) loved the Harissa Grilled Carrots and Meatloaf Burger. I loved the extensive wine list, and my risotto was amazing. We also met the chef as we were leaving, and she was so amazing! We’ll definitely be back.

Props to the chef! I have been vegan for almost 8 years and the vegan Autumn Osso Bucco was hands down the best vegan, and non vegan, meal I’ve ever had. It was incredible! The textures and flavors were absolutely heavenly!!!! It’s a meal I’ll never forget.

While the Osso Bucco was the star of the evening for me, the appetizers and my husband’s fish were also outstanding. The portions, prices, and service were all amazing. Our server Miranda was fantastic. She made sure my husband’s birthday dinner ended with desserts he and I would both enjoy.

HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. We will definitely be back, and I hope the Osso Bucco stays on the menu!

Came during happy hour. Opens at 4 but you can’t order food until 5. So I ordered a smoked maple Manhattan drink. One of the easiest Manhattan drinks to consume. The maple makes it very smooth. Then ordered sweet bulgogi fries as an appetizer while waiting for the entree. Excellent. Don’t let their small size fool you. Then ordered the Oak smoked ohio raised pork shank with grilled apples. It appears to be a small portion but I couldn’t finish. The meat fell off the bone. Grits were great. The greens and grilled apples added new taste and texture which I appreciated. This restaurant isn’t afraid to try new things which I love.

Recently visited Registry Bistro as a group for a friend’s birthday dinner. Our server, Chase was attentive and provided great personal recommendations on items he actually tried for himself. I ordered their Bourbon Old Fashioned – and it was perfectly executed! For my starter, I had their Mixed Spring Green Salad with Blueberries & Fresh Goat Cheese – which was delicious! As for the main, I ordered the Butter Roasted Game Hen with Herb Vin Blanc – which was beautifully presented, but I probably would not order on my next visit. If ever in the area again, I would definitely visit again for drinks and appetizers!
