I’ve had higher expectations met by gas station tacos.
The tortilla tasted like it came straight from H-E-B’s bread aisle — I can still taste the plastic. Not homemade vibes. Not even “warmed with love” vibes. Just… shelf tortilla energy.
If you order a taco with beans, be prepared to meet a single bean. Not beans. One bean. Ordering extra didn’t change anything — apparently “extra” is more of a suggestion.
The amount of filling was impressively small. Like, “wouldn’t fill a Vienna sausage baby food container” small. I stared at it longer than I ate it.
You also can’t order in person, which is fine — unless the food shows up like this. At that point it just feels rude.
Austin has way too many good taco trucks for this level of disappointment. If you’re hungry, keep driving. If you’re curious, lower your expectations… significantly.
Lastly, after all of the hurdles you’ve jumped through to get this taco- expect your order to be wrong.
Below is the photo of my bean, cheese and bacon taco- which contains undercooked potato’s (that I didnt order) and no cheese (which I did order). The bright side- it had beans this time.

It was a nice day to sit and eat breakfast outside where a food truck area was located. I like cheese on my breakfast tacos, but I prefer for my cheese to be melted or my food to be hot enough to melt the cheese. I wasn’t a fan of cold cheese place on top of warm food. I also like my food to be piping hot when I receive it. I wouldn’t order breakfast tacos with cheese again. The best plate was the quesobirria tacos. They were pretty good, but not very hot even though it looks like they are literally cooking the food to order?! We also ordered a beef bowl. I ordered the sides, such as lettuce, crema, etc. But didn’t get them. The bowl was okay.
When your food is ready, you have to get back in line with the other people who are ordering food. I would suggest for them to have a widow for pick up so we wouldn’t have to stand in line again.
Overall, there are better food trucks and I wouldn’t come back to this one.

This place is amazing! They have a simple yet delicious menu and also have a breakfast menu. I got a burrito and it was HUGE! It also didn’t fall apart like others. We got 2 burritos and 2 drinks and it was $24 for all. The burritos were filled with yummy chicken, beans, avocado, and rice! The service was extremely fast and they bring you the food even though it’s a food truck. They also have a variety of salsas. This is a must try in the Oak Hill area!

I tried the burritos, quesadilla and Mr Chingo tacos… I recommend getting the beef fajita Mr. Chingo taco or chicken which is 10/10… it gets boring quick though. The beef fajita quesadilla is my to go… the al pastor burrito is also a must try… the beef fajita, al pastor, chicken here is perfect, 0 complaints. I love eating here! I suggest you call in your order.

Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry! We arrived when no one else was there and it still took over 20 minutes to get our breakfast tacos. The food was pretty good. The chorizo was very tasty. The amount of bacon was not generous at all, and same with the cheese. At a lot of good places, you can barely hold the taco together because it’s so stuffed! Not so much here. It was all ok but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again.

Great stop if you are in the area! Nice little outdoor area to hang out and food was very good. They are definitely not stingy as all the tacos were filled with meat, eggs, or whatever you ordered. Food came out fairly quickly as well. I would recommend this food truck if you are in the area.

I almost teared up when I took my first bite of their carne azada taco. So juicy, so flavorful, so fresh, so good!! Very nice people too! I’m definitely going back to taste other foods on their menu. Highly recommend al pastor, carne azada, and carnita tacos. Packed with flavors!!!

Great taco truck location with great authentic food. They have fresh juices and also protein shakes which are amazing and made as soon as you order. (Not pre-made). Loved the nice picnic tables and clean area. Definitely going back.

Stopped here while vacationing nearby, and the reviews are legit. The chingon taco was undoubtedly the best taco I’ve had in my life. Large portion, juicy, full of flavor. The al pastor was also good, though I added some sauce to it. Would definitely recommend the juices as well. They were out of green apples, so I had to order the bloody juice; this was one of the few times I’ve had a beet juice where the beet flavor wasn’t overwhelming. So happy I stopped here!
