This was my second time coming here and the first time the food was edible, very bland and wet but I figured they were just having an off night. Well I tried them again today. The Shrimp enchiladas were mushy, almost like they took store bought tortillas straight out of the package and hoped the cheese and sauce would cook them?? The insides were mostly green bell pepper with like 10 shrimp for the whole 3 enchiladas, mind you they were baby shrimp. The rice and beans were fine, nothing to write home about. The mini taquitos were the best thing in my meal and with that they were very bland and needed a ton of help from salsa and guac. Then we get to the flan… Oh my. This flan was mealy, burnt to a crisp on the top AND the bottom and swimming in a burnt sugar syrup. To top it all off, when I asked for a partial refund I was told they only offer “store credit.” Needless to say I probably won’t be back. 40 bucks for some of the worst food I have ever had. Shame.

Do NOT sleep on this place, you’ll miss a great meal. Sure it’s in a plaza, and the interior set up / space isn’t super exciting. However, it’s clean, the bathrooms are very clean and the food…. It’s great! I spent three days in this town and ate here twice. I really like to try new places and not double up, but I really liked this spot. I got the Burrito Supreme the first day and the California Burrito the next, pictured. Both were great. My wife got the Burrito Gigante and chicken tacos the next and she really enjoyed both meals. On a Sunday and Monday night this restaurant was full.
If you’re in Navarre, stop in here for lunch or dinner. You will not be sorry.

I got a burrito supreme and my husband got the burrito blanco. The flavor was very surprising in a good way! This is the closest to good Spanish food we found in the area and we were very pleased! 10/10

If you’re looking for the best Mexican food place in Navarre, THIS is the place to come to. The service is extremely friendly and courteous, and special requests/substitutions are never a problem. The food is the best value for the price, and you cannot leave hungry, I don’t believe it’s possible. My wife and I have been coming here for years and we are going through nearly every menu offering and we’ve enjoyed every single meal consistently. Be sure to have a meal here, you will absolutely treasure this gem of a restaurant in the heart of Navarre. Thank you to my Mariachi Express family for your great service, food and atmosphere, we are customers for life!

The flavors are bold and suttle at the same time, hard to explain.
I had street tacos, 2 carne asada and 2 carnitas, will not overwhelm your taste buds but will wake them to a happy party. It was plentiful, even the salsa a chips were like the rest, a higher level than anything I’ve reviewed from California to Florida, not that California might you find such delicious Mexican food but these guys, there the ball out of the park. Delicate and bold just spectacular Michoacán Mexican good.
Can’t beat this in 1,000 miles radius.
The restaurant is small and quaint, nice relaxed atmosphere, comfortable and the service was no less than you’d like. It was just really good!

We went to this new restaurant in Navarre, Mariachi’s Mexican Grill Express, yesterday afternoon and it was a great experience all the way around. We were seated right away, our server, Brian, was kind, knowledgeable and attentive, and the food came out quickly, was hot, presented beautifully, and most importantly, tasted great! It’s another option in Navarre, for a good meal.

Stopped in to check out what appeared to be a quick takeout place. Sounded like a fast food place with “Express “ in its name. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, the ample seating, quick service, and delicious food. Victoria was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I’ll be back!
