I have the food a 3. I’ve had two very different experience is here. The first time I came, I had one of the most amazing crab cakes ever, that I was excited to return a few weeks later for Valentine’s Day dinner with my man. It was not good at all. I’m going to give it a third try and then I’ll decide for sure. Great atmosphere and service!!!

Average place, don’t order steak (NY Strip was 1/2 gristle & fat)… scallops were good. Overworked waitress was nice.
Response about getting a manager and new steak…. No thanks. Check your products before serving them. Why would we wait even longer for ONE Person’s meal while the other one eats alone. Restaurants should be aware of what they are serving so the patron doesn’t have to go through that. Which ,btw, is embarrassing and can result in a “spit” steak.. ih, and a QUICK mention! She was so busy, there would have been nothing quick about it

The food and service was very good. But my wife did have some stomach issues the day from Fish & Chips. She believed it was the breading.
Anyway, it’s a great place to watch sports. There about 12 flat screen TV’s on the walls.

This has fast become our go to bar because of the friendly staff and decent drink specials. The food is above average and reasonably priced as well. There’s plenty of parking and good off season specials. Plus they have the most comfortable bar stools around.

My husband and I were planning to go to Longboard last night for burgers but since they were closed we decided to try Taphouse. I’m so glad we did. The Taphouse burger is outstanding! It’s easily the best burger I’ve had on the eastern shore and in the top tree best burgers I’ve ever had, period. I’m not a smash burger fan as they’re usually burnt. These were a perfect medium temp and so juicy. The bacon was crispy, also not burned, and the sauce was delicious as well. Despite being really juicy the burger was so easy to eat. Everything was evenly sliced and perfectly layered. No strangely large tomato chunks or onion slices. I finished the whole thing without getting any sauce or cheese on my hands and clothes. You could order this burger on a first date. The bun! Kind of like a salted sesame bagel that held everything together really well without being too hard or difficult to squish. The sides are delicious also—asparagus and fries both were fresh and made to order. Our amazing server was slammed and triple seated when we got there but handled the whole restaurant with ease and a smile. We will be back!

After a charity drive the Ocean City Jeep Club stopped at West OC Taphouse for lunch with approx 35 folks, communicating in advance they did a fantastic job at handling our group. They sat us together at the high tops and tables in the bar area where everyone could chat and collaborate with each other. The food was great (cheesesteak was ) the team did a wonderful job service wise.

Love this place. Awesome bar staff along with the food. Good selection of rotating draft beers on tap too. Also, great off season spot for night activities like cornhole and trivia and open year round too which is big for the surrounding locals that live in the area for something to do and hang out and catch up with friends and meet new ones like I have there.

Fun atmosphere. We had a few hiccups with our order but we also were a party of 12! Good Food. Great Service! Awesome Drinks!! Definitely one of those places to go back to several more times!!
Update Party of 18 this year… We had fantastic service. The food was delicious. I cannot express how much we enjoyed our visit!! Again we were a party of 18!! With 2 children under 5! I’ve added just a few pics of our dishes. The ones I could reach without being obnoxious lol. Definitely a great place to go. Relaxing atmosphere. Great Food. Awesome Service

The service was simply amazing!! It was a Saturday evening and the bar area was packed. There were only 2 bartenders behind the bar, Zach and another guy. Besides serving everyone at the bar, they also had 2 high tops to serve. I cannot remember the name of the other bartender, or the name of the manager, but they and Zach went above and beyond with the service they provided. As busy as it was, we were never ignored, and Zach and the others kept our drinks refilled and took our food order promptly. We were sitting at one of the high tops, so they had to come from behind the bar to serve us. They were all super friendly, and didn’t make us feel rushed. We ordered a couple of apps, which were very good.

I’ve been here twice in recent weeks and really enjoyed it both times.
First time with a buddy to watch the orioles game, eat, and have some beers. They have a wide selection of craft beers. We both had the layered strada, very smooth with an overall sweet tone.
Surf tacos and Nashville Hot Chicken were delicious in their own right. It was my first venture with Hot Honey, and I was not disappointed!
They also have an entire line of hot sauces worth checking out.
Brisket Grilled Cheese and a Tapped Up Sampler were on deck when my wife and I came a few weeks later. Both were absolutely fabulous!!!
Staff were great on both occasions, perfectly attentive. Layed back atmosphere with a lot of tvs playing O’s games.
We shall be back!!
